Stewie's "again?" when Brian said he was moving out was the only thing I laughed at

Re: Family Guy -- "Excellence in Broadcasting" -- 10-3-2010
I liked Lois's reasoning of why the Fred Savage stuff should be disregarded

At first thought, liberals and conservatives being good friends sounds about as likely as a KKK member being friends with a member of the Black Panthers. Can you really be friends with someone whose views you don't respect? Then I always think of how politians buddy up to each other, (at dinners and other gatherings), even after making the most horrible statements about each other and I realize that it's all just a scam by the rich and elite in this country to keep control over the ignorant masses. Great system and we all buy it. |

Well - at least for now looks like the people killed in the season opener are staying dead.
The song was boring, and there were a few chuckles - but just ho-hum |

I do agree that things like the White House Corespondents' Dinner give the impression it's all just a big joke to these people. As for the Family Guy episode, I can't say I enjoyed it due to my visceral disdain for rush limbaugh. |

And how do you think Rush got to be a gazillionaire while you and I aren't? |
Re: Family Guy -- "Excellence in Broadcasting" -- 10-3-2010
@Sessa117--Or is that Steve Martin in the 70's stand-up era?

Re: Family Guy -- "Excellence in Broadcasting" -- 10-3-2010
Just watched it. The season opener was so incredibly bad that I had low expectations. I laughed several times. The damn fart joke had me rolling, especially when Rush moved seats. It wasn't great, but for Family Guy of late, I certainly enjoyed it. Rush is obviously a good sport about these things.

I might not agree with their beliefs, but I absolutely respect them. That is an extremely narrow minded "first-thought" you have and I wouldn't want to view the people in my life that way.

Re: Family Guy -- "Excellence in Broadcasting" -- 10-3-2010
I though it was a great episode, a nice return to form after last week's 'story' episode. The Rush/Brian stuff was fun and it was nice to see the show taking shots at both sides. The jokes were hit or miss like always but I laughed out loud several times, for newer Family Guy this was really solid.
Oh yeah and I loved the Office parody |
Re: Family Guy -- "Excellence in Broadcasting" -- 10-3-2010
Terrible.

I love that movie. Your quote is a little off though. |

I also liked when they met George W Bush and he came running over and Rush picked him up like a little kid and gave him a lollipop. |

Fair episode but that bit with the American made stuff breaking then the cat mooing had me on the floor.

Re: Family Guy -- "Welcome Back Carter" -- 10/10/10
HA. That was the little boy from "Jerry Maguire."
Can't believe he's 20 now. |
Re: Family Guy -- "Welcome Back Carter" -- 10/10/10
According to IMDB he also voiced a character on Family Guy a few years back...wonder if he pissed off Seth or something.
With the exception of the French sirens sounding like a gay threesome, I don't think I laughed once. |
Re: Family Guy -- "Welcome Back Carter" -- 10/10/10
mother fucking shit. DirecTV did it to me again. Somehow this was scheduled to record, but ended up recording an hour or so early. Had all the right guide data, but not the right time. Happened on American Dad, too.
