Supernatural -- "Heaven Can't Wait" -- 11/12/13

Synopsis:

"Heaven Can't Wait" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

CASTIEL GETS A JOB - Castiel (Misha Collins) gets a job at a Gas-N-Sip and actually starts to enjoy life as a human. A headline in the local newspaper about some disappearances in the area catches his eye, so he calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) to help him investigate the case. Dean knows he needs to keep Sam/Ezekiel (Jared Padaleck) away from Castiel, so he tells Sam that he and Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) need to stay and work with Crowley to decipher the tablet. Crowley agrees to help Sam and Kevin but in return he wants one phone call to hell. Rob Spera directed the episode written by Robert Berens (907).

Misha Collins was killing me in this episode. He is so good.

I watched the first 3 episodes and just cannot get into the whole Cas being human thing.....does it get better? I really dug the first episode but just completely stopped watching after the next two.

Yeah I really enjoyed this episode. Seeing Cass working at a 7/11 was great and Misha did a great job. I just wish he was on the show more because the show is much better when he's on it.

Cas being human seems like the long-term plan for the character, so either you should accept it or move on. This episode had a funny misunderstanding between him and a potential date as he learns to be human.

The Cas character has turned me into a female Lifetime viewer. I was so hyped that Cas may feel love and companionship. Only to be ripped away in one instant.

Where do I turn in my man card?
