History's endless 'Ancient Aliens' broadcasts

I think the main History Channel got embarrassed they were airing Ancient Aliens. If you've paid attention in the past year or so, most History Channel re-runs on weekdays now are for their reality shows. Anything outside that genre gets shunted to the weekend or their less-popular sibling channels.

If they were embarrassed by Ancient Aliens, the execs could have always canceled it. History has always had it's share of odd shows. A couple years ago it was conspiracy shows, then end-of-the-world apocalypse shows, now it's Ancient Aliens. Personally, I'm more embarrassed by the redneck reality shows they air. Honestly, why would a channel called The History Channel air something like Swamp People or Ax Men?
