I know scheduling is always an issue but I'm surprised that no late night host has tried to make this a regular thing. Have a different cast reunion once a week and devote the whole show to it.
As I type that I'm thinking Craig Ferguson could have pulled it off.

I look forward to that issue.
I have no idea how Walt could appear in BCS. There's no way it would really make sense and would just feel shoehorned and wrong. Jesse might work, but I hope it isn't in the Gene storyline. I want his escape to be the final word on Jesse's story.

edit: Well, I guess I didn't miss an issue. I just looked closer at that BB cover and the issue # is 1520 (Aquaman was 1519). I'm not sure why they skipped a week.

I've always thought the final season of BCS would be in the same timeline as the second and maybe third season of BB. We'd see things from Saul's standpoint, especially since he's only occurs once-in-a-while at that point in BB. We can see his side, have an occasional scene replayed with Walt from Saul's POV just to weave the stories together. Then, ultimately, if you watched both BCS and BB together in time, you'd get the "fuller" story of their relationship and what's happening in ABQ.

I love the Emmy as a prop in the RV.

I just finished rewatching the series from start to finish. Still the best show ever on TV; The Wire and GOT don't even come close.

I went through it again a couple of months back. I almost forgot how great it was... but no, it doesn't beat The Wire. It's probably my number 2, but The Sopranos could overtake that number 2 spot some days.

That's great. So did they de-age Jesse and Walt, but not

Last night we wrapped up our second viewing of BB. Such a bittersweet thing. I recall on my first viewing feeling a certain way for Walt and rooting for him. I recall thinking that he "saved" Jesse and I cannot believe how much I forgot from the first viewing to the second. Watching it a second time was awesome. I was able to pick up on so many nuances (and appreciate how well Vince Gilligan tied things together --- dude is a genius) but more importantly, I realized what a total asshole Walt was -- from almost episode 2 on. He was selfish and arrogant and mean. He literally was the reason for every single thing that went bad to himself, his family and Jesse.
Ironically my son was rooting for Walt and didn't understand my perspective about how bad he is. I told him to watch it again in another 5 years and see if his opinion changes.

My wife and I recently finished up a marathon of BCS and BB, along with El Camino. I also noticed the same things you did at the end of it all. First time around, I was behind Walt most of the way, his wife was terrible, etc. On the second viewing, we too realized that Walt was terrible from the beginning, his wife was waaaay more accommodating than she should have been, and Jesse really got the short end of the stick. At least as far as people still living at the end is concerned.
Great show. I hope something else comes along someday that can rival it for quality.

We do tend to root for the bad guys.
In the grand scheme of things, is Walter White any worse than Tony Soprano or Jax Teller?

He might be worse. He literally fucked over every single person in his family. He did a few sparingly "good" things but for the most part, he manipulated every single situation and person to his benefit. The show was so great from start to finish. I'm probably more sad it's over the 2nd time around than I was the 1st. El Camino is next and perhaps I'll watch BCS again. That show was very good but not outstanding like BB, IMO.

I am very much looking forward to revisiting BB in its entirety someday. Haven't watched since its original airing. Was such a great show that still gets referenced quite frequently in our household.

I've mentioned it before, but it's worth repeating--the Breaking Bad Insider Podcast is really worth listening to if you're a fan of the series. It's hosted by one of the show's editors, but Vince Gilligan is almost always there, too. Each podcast episode talks about one episode of the show, and goes into writing and casting choices, and the behind-the-scenes production work. They often have one of the actors who is prominently featured in the episode. It's a fun listen. Gilligan seems like a genuinely nice person and it's great to hear him talk about the show.

Even on my initial watch when people gave people Skyler shit I never truly understood why. Walt acts super suspicious from fairly early on.
She doesn’t know what it is for a while but regardless it’s something shady. The moment she finds out he’s a drug dealer I’m not sure how she’s still the bad guy in the situation.
Yeah we as an audience want to root for Walt (somewhat?) but still it’s easy to see her point of view.
