Renewed for a 10th season. Moving back to Mondays in March.

Kitchen Nightmares will take over Bones Friday timeslot when it moves back.

I know this isn't the type of show that gets weekly discussion, but it's always a fun and durable 1 hour drama.

Hart Hanson, Bones creator, is leaving the show to work on Backstrom, the new 1 hour drama starring Rainn Wilson that FOX picked up.

It doesn't mention it in the article, but I thought I read something recently that season 10 was going to be the last.

I'm happy to see it renewed, it's not as good as it used to be, but I DVR it and get around to watching it eventually during the week.

I don't think I hate a television relationship more than the Bones/Boothe relationship. It feels forced, they have zero chemistry together, and it just doesn't work.

Yeah, for years Bones was always talking about how love isn't real, it's just a chemical release in the brain or something like that. And now she's all kissy and moony with Booth.

yeah, how dare characters change over time.

Changing is one thing, going polar opposite of your beliefs is another.

Well, the season finale was pretty darned good. Not as good as the show was during it's first 5 or 6 years, but pretty good all the same.

I am hoping that the 10th season will be the last, though. Season 9 was better than the nearly disastrous Season 8 (which had some barely watchable episodes), and hopefully with Season 10 they can maintain the quality without slipping back to S8 territory.

Somehow though, it seems a lot like the plot that they used when Bone's father reappeared. It would be cool if Max was the key to getting Booth out of his current predicament.

Wow...the final shoot out had my heart racing, it was an action set piece as good as, if not better than some of those found in good big budget films.
