I think if that were to happen then you would have to assume that they would be dead as well. If we had no flash forwards then we would all be in the dark at this point.

Jesse's not innocent but let's be honest his actions were largely influenced by Walt. He was a lot less of a threat to anyone besides himself and his circle of friends before he and Walt began working together.

What are the bad guys going to do if they surrender? Let them go?

I understand that but Jesse also got his fair share of a huge amount of money. Had he kept his mouth shut and went on his way without wanting revenge then there is nowhere to go for anyone else. Jesse is the big spoon in the pot.

Ahh, but did it really spoil anything? Three episodes left. There is no way they would kill off Walt or let him go to jail with three episodes left. Walt is there to the very end.

Anything is possible next week even Hank surviving. Vince and his writing team love to box themselves in corners with the storylines and try to come up with a way out of an impossible situation.

The funny thing is that we saw Todd's crew go in and takeout a whole crew of people with precision and they can't even hit someone here.

Once Hank made the phone call to Marie, I thought his fate was sealed. Great episode. The hour just flew by. Also, loved the background music in the opening sequence with Todd and Lydia.

Technically we didn't really see that, we just heard it.

Yeah but you know he's still a lone wolf months after this shootout. No way you could have guessed that when he was cowering in the SUV without the flash forward.

Well, they did pull it off without any of their own casualties against a group of seven or so guys.

Yep, we don't know how they carried it out though. Maybe they had guys set up with scoped rifles in fixed positions.

Ultimately though, Jesse's guilt was never going to let himself just walk away. It stopped being about the money a while ago with him. It's been consistent with his character for a while. He doesn't like what he's doing but he goes along with it probably out of fear for his own life. He was clearly hesitant to kill Gale in the third season finale and we saw how it affected him throughout the fourth season. Brock getting poisoned was another thing that obviously made him feel guilty as had he not been involved with Gus and Walt to begin with the kid wouldn't have been a target.

Jesse isn't a perfect person or innocent by any means but more than anything I still say he was a misguided young adult who was looking for guidance and thought Walt was a decent guy who turned his life around for the worst.

I thought Walt told the crew to take out Marie (or at least kidnap her) as a way for Hank to let him go.

No call like that happens without trouble.

Is it really cowering when glass and bullets are flying around your head?

Oddly enough Walt is probably the only hope Jesse has of getting out of there alive. I just don't see Hank surviving.

Re: Breaking Bad-- To'hajiilee -- 9/8/13

When Jesse was on the phone with Walt it sounded like he was still indoors with the echo. I'm assuming they kept the recording of Walt confessing at the house. So they do have that on him.
