She's joining Snooki, Leah Remini, and some other "stars" for the new season. I'm not sure if I'm happy for her... or horrified. Or both.

Wow, with just months to live? That takes some balls.

What's sick is that this basically confirms the rubbish status of this show. If she dies in the middle, they'll cash in on the tragedy. If she gets too sick to continue, they'll cash in on the tragedy. If she makes it until she gets sent home or whateverthefuck they do on this show, they'll cash in on people rubber necking waiting for the death or illness.

The show is complete trash for doing this. As for Ms. Harper, I just hope she doesn't feel she has to do this for cash or anything like that. I hope she's doing it on her own terms.

Snooki!? Every year when I think they can't hit any more rock bottom, they do. And I hate Christina Milan on The Voice. But I'm pulling for Valerie Harper to make a good showing. Good for her, if that's on her bucket list, but I just don't know if they will do a good job not making this an awkward situation.

I'm as cynical as the next guy, but maybe it is a bucket list thing for Valerie. I will watch this season for Leah Remini. I especially like her since she challenged the Scientology church and ultimately left.

Valerie Harper is guest starring on Hot in Cleveland, which I thought would be her last TV appearance.

I feel bad for her diagnosis, but she's essentially living on borrowed time right now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with Brain cancer, she could possibly die in her sleep any day now. Or possibly suffer a fatal brain seizure.

She's got heart. Let her do what she wants/needs to do. Good for her.

The few cases of brain cancer that I've witnessed, none were that lucky.

She also just did a TV movie that will air in January.

This will definately grab attention and get people watching, but I cant imagine Valerie Harper lasting long on the show. Unless she keeps getting the votes to stay. The cast alone seems to be an improvement over last year.
