Re: Rewind - SyFy pilot - 8/26/13
Someone on the IMDB boards posted they saw the pilot in a test screening:
While visiting Universal Studios in early December I was approached and asked to watch a pilot of a show that may air in 2013 and give my feedback. There were many others who watched it and gave feedback also. The show looks REALLY good. Instead of going back 7 days as the other show did they actually go back to a pre WWII era to make changes that will effect the future events. There were cool old cars and good sets. Again there is a time line on when things have to get done and get back to the future so it's a race against time that will change a catastrophic event as well as having time travel elements of whatever you do may inadvertently make the entire future different. I like SciFi and have liked Fringe (though it's starting to get stale now). If you like SciFi and action, you'll like this show. For the most part there are really good actors too.
SyFy dumping it at the end of August before Labor Day tells me they don't have much faith in the project or have any expectations of success.

Yep. It was interesting, especially compared to Continuum. The uber-tool-that-analyzes-possible-futures was a bit much. Nice to see Jeff Fahey and I liked his character's micro-drones.
The ending was odd - as if the officer expected the window to open to a specific time and place. How would he know that? Guess we may never know.

It was pretty good (yes the predictor software was very silly) as far as lite TV SciFi goes. So, is this a new series or just the pilot and done? I can't find any listing for future episodes ( or even the inevitable endless repeats of this episode).

A Twitter Q&A with Craig Engler (@SyFy) suggests a one-and-done pilot.
