It's a sad day to be a Smallville fan, Lee Thompson Young, who played Cyborg in Smallville, was found dead. He was 29.

Various news agencies reported that he was found dead today in his apartment, after a co-star from Rizzoli&Isles requested someone check his home when he failed to show up at work.

Police did not disclose the cause of death, but his manager released a statement that it was suicide.

"It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning," longtime manager Jonathan Baruch said in a statement. “Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time.”

In behalf of Superman fans worldwide and this fan page, our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
