Tonight's the big night. I love crappy Sci-Fi movies(going back to the 1950s). The original Sharknado is on at 7pm followed by the sequel at 9pm.

Any word of Blu-ray releases?

I love the cheesy Syfy originals.

Not only do we get Sharknado 2 tonight but we also get

Sharktopus vs Pteracuda on saturday night. And yes, that is the shark/octopus versus a pterodactyl/barracuda

SyFy has been pushing this sequel all over the media. They ran a two-hour special about it, I kid you not.

That was awesome.

I know we love our classics and I wasn't convinced after the first one, perhaps due to a bout of nostalgia, but after witnessing the utter brilliance that is Sharknado 2, anyone remotely objective has to admit that it's better than Jaws, and that Fin has surpassed Ash in terms of iconic characters wielding a chainsaw.

I love the SyFy monster movies, but I would really like to see one with a big budget.

The crude effects don't match up to the titles.

Did they actually (well more like technically) kill twice?

I love it. The dialogue is straight out of Attack Of The Clones.

The dialogue was so bad that George Lucas would have rolled his eyes. I enjoyed it.

1st and final acts were awesome.
