Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

Since it didn't look like this was out there yet, I thought I'd start it. It looks like AD airs on the TV Guide Channel this year from 12-2 ET.

I've never watched anything on the TV Guide channel before, but I guess they're comfortable with the language (edit...or not so much).

As with other After Dark threads, if you want to keep up solely with the broadcast show then don't read this.

Spoilers abound!

Only about 15 min in, but it looks like it will be heavily censored.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

BBAD is going to be boring as shit now on this new channel.
Only 2hrs but sure it will have regular commercial breaks so probably more like 1 1/2hr
Plus it will be even more censored than it was on Showtime.

Wrong move CBS ...

Goddammit, I hate you, CBS.

I don't know if I'll even bother watching this, and just keep up with whats going on through Jokers.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

Wow, Match...that's bad. Mine only has the times and then two single line rows for the channels and I thought that was annoying!

Anyway, I paid for the feeds for the first time ever because I figured BBAD would suck this year. That seems to be the case since they are dropping the audio whenever someone swears. I was watching the feeds but they went out after the first hour so I'm back to watching BBAD.

The noms are Jessie and Candice. Jessie doesn't seem to be handling her nomination well.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

The censoring is really dumb. It's on late at night and they have a warning before it starts. I watched the first hour before I went off to bed and didn't have any commercials or a guide. I hope they keep that part going.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

I have comcast and they only carry the SD channel in my area. I'm a good hour into BBAD and its been great as far that there is no commercials and I do not have any TV guide info, just the BBAD show.

The censoring seems to be just language so far. It is on a 30 delay and they keep dropping the audio, but I imagine that if crazy nudity or something else they will just dump to a different camera.

TVGN was getting hammered on Twitter last night about the censoring.

My guide has this for the description on the show:

An uncensored look inside the 'Big Brother' house. (Reality, 180 Min.)

So clearly that is not correct as it is censored and only 120 min.

I could only make it through 15 minutes, the censoring sucks. All the muted sound makes it very difficult to follow some discussions. Not sure if I'll be able to watch any more of this.

Have yet to check FB but wondering if CBS is getting negative feedback on the BBAD choice this year.
I imagine not many are pleased with a half-assed show compared to what it was.

.... OK so checked it out and there seems to be some complaints but less than expected. Maybe BBAD isn't so popular to begin with ?

According to "Reality Blurred" a TVGN rep says they were too quick on the trigger last night, and they'll try just edit words rather than entire sections of dialogue. However, it sounds like they intend to be somewhat strict on what they'll allow, -there'll be no nudity, for example.

One odd little item that came out of last night's show, -according to one of the houseguests, women are required to wear bras.

I saw that ! I also saw that they wouldn't allow McCrae to change his hair style. I remember hearing him say something about changing their look was not allowed as he was getting his hair 'slicked' back and he got a BB voice warning.

I wish they would forbid them from saying the word "Like". The dialog would immediately be cut by half.

Jessie and Candice are currently up for eviction, but pretty much the entire house now wants to get rid of Elissa (mini Rachel). They want to backdoor her with the veto.

Production must be in a panic.

Look for the MVP thing to now include immunity from eviction.

She's not completely void of allies. McCrae knew about her "winning" MVP and talked her into nominating a strong guy so they would play hard for veto. (the HGs are assuming that the MVP nom gets to be replaced by the MVP) Also, Judd and Helen are still on her side.

The big (and CRAZY!) personalities are against her though.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

Seems like Aaryn has really poor taste... This is a snippet of a recent conversation with David (really an argument)

A to D: in the past 5 hrs, you've done 2 things that have made me lose trust. Elissa said 1st day, that she wanted a girl's alliance & let's act like we don't like each other but then secretly be rooting for each other and that sounded like a good idea, but then I was lying in bed and looked at you, and no, I wanted to be loyal to you.

Ugghh! She's attracted to David?? I wanted him to be the first to go.

David may not be a catch, but Aaryn's nuts. She jumped all over David b/c he had the unmitigated gall to actually have a civil conversation with Elissa. Of course given the crazy of Kaitlin, Jessie, Amanda, and Aaryn since the feeds went live their might just be something in the water.

Fuck you, CBS/TVGN.

If you have these imaginary "rules" that you need to follow, then maybe TVGN wasn't a very good place to put his program. The whole point of "Big Brother After Dark" is that viewers get to watch the action in the Big Brother house live and uncensored.

How, exactly, does this benefit the viewers of the program in any way? I suppose it's good for those who aren't Showtime subscribers, but those of us who are are now denied access to the program we have been watching for years. And now Sho2 subscribers get to watch more of the same movies that the Showtime channels already play over and over. Now we can have "The Crying Game" showing fifteen times this month instead of twelve.

...and in other matters:

McCrae (Pizza Boy/HOH) won the veto. Elissa is the MVP, and she put up David.

Exclusive: ‘Big Brother After Dark’ On Move To TVGN: “No Difference” Says TVGN Senior VP
http://bigbrothernetwork.com/exclusi...no-difference/

This paragraph caught my attention from the website.

Will BBAD on TVGN be split-screen with programming guides?:
In its former life, the TV Guide Channel offered a scrolling programming guide alongside television shows. Some readers have expressed fears that Big Brother’s “After Dark” would have to share its screen with “what’s currently airing on QVC?” Not the case at all. Ms. Furuta confirmed that “Big Brother After Dark” would “air in full-screen with no guide.”
To sum it all up, Furuta explained, “there is literally no difference between “Big Brother: After Dark” on TVGN and past season of the show previously on SHO2.”
I guess they need to watch it on Comcast. It's all wrong.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

Well, the censors have been a little less busy tonight on BBAD, -the first hour was fairly "loose", then with the second hour it seemed like we were losing whole chunks of dialogue again. After listening to Julie Chen's message before the broadcast, I wonder if the show will be "commercial-free" only for the first week...

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread

There is a lot of week left, but right now the hidden power in the house wants David out and Elissa to stay.

It looks like it was one of those spell a word veto competitions. McCrae tried to throw it and only did an eight letter word, but he's playing with dummies.

There are lots of fake alliances running around, but per the Nick/McCrae talk the initial idea is to take Candice of the block to secure her vote, nominate Elissa, but then blindside David.
