Synopsis:

Kiera looks into a new street drug that she recognizes from the future; at the same time, the warring Sonya and Travis use gangs as their weapons.

so the freelancer dude is Alec's father?

Looks like it. He's not a freelancer though. He was working in the prison during the execution. He just got sent back further than the rest.

Interesting. I wonder if he's playing crazy, it it's legit, or if Alec saw what he wanted to see v the truth.

I really like how this show doesn't completely follow typical story lines. The division between Liber8 could go a long way to play out history. In other words, explain why the time travel wasn't successful in the first place. Maybe they tried this before, but were equally unsuccessful.

I continue to hope that Carlos finds out. Seems like he's starting to pay more attention to details and it looks like he's questioning situations.

Who was the lady in the jail? Alec's step mom? I know there was the farm house episode last season, but if it's the same lady she didn't leave a big impression on me.

Oh man, that scene with Kiera's sister committing suicide in front of her from the future sequence was heartbreaking. You could see why this particular case was so personal to Kiera.

After a rough 1st episode, the last 2 have been good.

What the hell was Kiera thinking when she decided to take on all those gunman with Carlos? They got lucky. Carlos could have been easily killed by that one shot.

So far, I think I like the direction season 2 is taking. It's not following a traditional formula in the storytelling.


I actually forgot to record this Friday. A re-air doesn't happen until next week and I couldn't wait, so I bought the episode from Amazon for $1.99

This show plugs away like a PG series at times and then bam, heads roll out of Travis' bag. Carlos got shot...again. Hanging around Kiera requires body armor all the time.
