Benson is smarter than to know to go there with Pete, he's good at reading people..

And if you had told me after the first season that the one original character I would later find myself identifying with and even rooting for would be Pete Campbell I wouldn't have believed it.

That doesn't address to me the question of whether Bob is relatively pure and love stricken or relatively impure, bi, and willing to climb Pete to get where he wants to go. That's the Bob question on my mind.

Where do you get bi? I don't think there has been anything physical with Joan.

I felt that way until the past three episodes. I finally caught up on the past few that I had missed and they were all great after what I feel was kind of an up and down first part of the season.
I saw the scene where Sally caught Don and Sylvia in the act coming fairly easily. It was a pretty awkward scene though and I do wonder what they'll do with it. Don seemed pretty guilt ridden by being caught but I wonder if anything will actually come of it or if he'll just go back to doing the same old thing. The scene with Bob and Pete surprised me a bit though. I wasn't really feeling any homosexual overtones from Bob before this episode unless I was just oblivious to them. Also I have to say none of the new additions to Sterling Cooper & Partners are doing a whole lot for me at this point. They sort of feel like more characters added that weren't really needed to an already large cast and it's not like they have a lot of time to expand on them as next season is the last. Ted is the only one that is kind of interesting but he seems like a less interesting and not as prone to cheating (that we know of at least, minus flirting with Peggy) Don to me.
