I just finished it. It was definitely different, but still very funny. I would watch another season of it.
The "difference" felt is because they seemed to have thrown away all of the old material. The Bluth Company offices are gone. The old house is mostly gone. The new episodes intertwine from different points of view. They only bring up old jokes here-and-there. Got to give them praise for that. There was so much to take in. I binged on the new episodes and can't yet form an opinion on what I liked and what I didn't. This show is filled to the brim with detail. |

Quick question, sorry if this has already been answered:
1. Is this going to be DVD/BluRay soon? 2. Is it necessary to have seen all 3 seasons to like this? (I bought Season One when it came out; liked it) |

Something about Lindey's face seems so off to me it's distracting.

I thought Portia looked awful. But honestly I've never found her attractive. Her eyebrows have always stood out as being weird looking.
Saw some old pictures of her and apparently she did have an eating disorder in the past. |

She does look a little different. No doubt. She's 6-7 years older. And I think she's as thin as I've ever seen her.
LOVED when Barry couldn't reach the door handle/Cha-chi. That combined w/Ron Howard stuff to me was pure gold. I've watched 6 & ep 4 was the best for me so far. |

Episode 4 taught me that James Lipton is like 5ft tall. WTF? Haha. I've watched the guy sit in that chair for the past fifteen years. I had no idea that he is so short.
The "Angels and Demons" standee in Michael's Imagine Entertainment office has Tom Hanks as a demon/zombie. Edit: Google says he's 5' 9". He looks much shorter. |

Yeah, it's not just older--they're all that much older, but it looks so...different. Whatever. Just sayin'.

I finished all the episodes. Loved it, totally brilliant and it got better and better as it went along. Forget a 2 hour movie, I want another 8 hour season.

It's a good thing George Michael changed his last name to distance himself from the certain bathroom actions of singer George Michael... http://www.nndb.com/people/554/000091281/

I love the way Ron Howard covers everything from Opie to Happy Days to Cinderella Man, all with such a great sense of humor. Genius stuff. |

I started watching at 10am yesterday and watched all the way through. To me the first few episodes it was just a surreal experience that it was happening and I was actually watching it.. It was all great and amazing how they interwove everything. I'm going to start watching it at a slower pace sometime soon. I really hope we get more sometime. So many great cameos, and one of the cooler things for me was the use of the Outsourced actors..I really liked that show.

It's actually a standee for More Angels and Demons starring Hanks's Bosom Buddies co-star Peter Scolari.

Done with the 1st episode. It was good, not great. I think it being longer than the traditional tv episode slightly hurt it. The stuff in the dorm just went on too long. Tons of good lines and callbacks to the original episodes.
It's a loose seal! |

I was a little worried about the stunt-casting, but it worked out really well.
I'm only 1 episode in though. I have a life and some self-control - I'm gonna savor these. |
