Re: Recently completed season/series

I just finished the first two seasons of Louie on Netflix.

This is the first time in a long time I've laughed out loud at a show. Some episodes were great while some were meh. Season 2 is definitely better than season 1. I just hope season 3 will be available soon on Netflix.

Re: Recently completed season/series

Just burned through the first season of Chuck. Been a few years, but damn the show holds up great. Cast, characters, humor, it was spot on from the pilot. I had forgotten Sarah & Casey started out against each other.

I had also forgotten about the last scene in the pilot which was mirrored in the final scene of the series. Good stuff.

^I was burning through the series, got halfway through season 5 then got distracted. It still sits on my entertainment center. Have to get through it.

Game of Thrones: S1

Watched S1, read the book and re-watched S1 again. I was still catching new things after essentially my third time through it.

I was still getting caught up on Breaking Bad when 5.1 aired and was unable to DVR all of the episodes... and AMC never re-aired them.

Anyone think they'll run a mini-marathon of 5.1 before they air the final episodes?

I just rewatched the final season of Spartacus on BD. It says all the episodes are extended but it doesn't look like they added anything to the actual story. Could be longer fight or sex scenes, though.

Burned through Chuck (s2) and started a second marathon of Breaking Bad. Watched the first 3 seasons so far. Was hoping to get through them faster to watch 5.2 live.
