Well, when a ghost contestant all of a sudden is a chatterbox, the writing is on the wall.

Edit: or not.

Lame. No wonder Brenda hasn't gotten any screen time, she's a fucking idiot.

I just fall in love with Andrea more and more each week, but it surely seems like Cochran is getting an edit that highly suggests he's going to be part of the final 3 (where you'd think he'd win). Personally, I'd just like to see Andrea get to the end.

That said, why did Malcolm give up just because Andrea was watching him? If he finds it, all she can do is report back. He can still try and get people to flip later and, at the very worst, if he finds it and plays it, he's still in the game and 1 of the other amigos is sent packing.

He said something like, "If I look for it, the girls will just start digging." So, I guess maybe there were other attempts to find it we didn't see where other people looked while he looked. That's still no reason to not look. You might be the one to find it first if the others are looking as well. If they find it before you do, you're not any worse off than not looking for it and not having it.

If you just keep yourself in the game, you never know what might happen.

Brenda really did seem very stupid when she spoke.

I know it's probably better if people don't get any food reward at all if they get unlucky; it's more like the way the show was at the beginning. But, I was even happy for Brenda (and everyone) that didn't get much or any food that they got to stuff their faces with that peanut butter.

You knew when Eddie was boasting about how he'd easily beat Cochran, despite the advantage, how that was going down.

If I were Malcolm, I would have memorized the drawing. It looked life like and may have been the bigger hint.

I don't understand why Malcolm didn't go ahead and dig for the idol as well. Though he said at the end he wouldn't have played it anyway. Apparently Erik and Sherry had him duped. Even so, if he had been able to pull it out at TC and just show it, it might have shaken things up.

I'm disappointed to see him go. I know lots of folks seem to be pulling for Cochran. I can't bring myself to do that. I'd love to see him knocked off, especially now that his arrogance has reached an all-time high.

Cochran, Dawn and Sherri are all annoying.

Well, there goes one of the three of my favorites to win. The other two are Cochran and Andrea.

Pulling for Eddie since Andrea would have to explain it to him that he'd actually won.

And then get him to give her the cool mil.

Her behavior during the auction was nothing short of absurd. I was so glad when she got stuck with the brains, which is ironic given that she lacks them.

Big Coch with the challenge win! Like Ian last summer on Big Brother, I want the geek to win.

I personally do not think it is going to be as exciting now with Malcolm gone. Malcolm seemed to be the one with all the strategy and capability to turn the game around. Now I just see the tribe following Andrea's direction and some easy eliminations.

You will love what happens next week.

Without Malcolm this has become almost unwatchable for me.

Some of you guys really don't like Cochran? He's by far my favorite player. I wish we had more Cochrans on Survivor and less Eddies and Reynolds. Of course, they can have as many Andreas as they want.

Yeah... every season it seems my favorite is ousted and I lose interest 100 percent.

How do you know? There hasn't been an episode without Malcolm yet. I'm disappointed he's gone, but now we get to watch "Stealth R Us" implode!

I wonder if there had been any value last week if the three amigos had said "we're going to let SRU decide who we vote out" and let chaos ensue. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Philup got his ass tossed, but maybe they should have chummed the waters for the other seven and let them go after each other.

His arrogance? I see confidence in his strong alliance and a put-on bravado at having won a couple of individual immunities, but I don't see arrogance.

I have Arpeggi-like love of Brenda, but she looked absolutely skeletal in this episode (and sounded like a complete idiot during the food challenge).

That said:

Sucked to see Malcolm go, but Reynold is actually growing on me a bit (although is days too are numbered).

Based on the edits, I'm predicting a Coch, Andrea and Random Useless Player finale.

Except for the fact that most of Malcolm's strategies have failed and turned around on his alliance and now himself. I'm very glad to see him gone.
I'm all for Cochrane. He may come across as arrogant, but it's nothing compared to the arrogance the Malcolm alliance constantly displays. Cochrane's just got a handle on this shit. He's cool and calm and playing the game like a mastermind pro, not to mention the fact that it's fun to see him actually winning some immunity challenges. I'm liking this season quite a bit.
