When the Hound killed the Butcher's kid, he was acting under the orders of Joffrey.

Oh man, I forgot my rule from last year to not participate in these threads. At this point, getting uptight about the most minute perceived spoiler when it comes to GOT had been an old internet cliche. Checking out now.

Decent show, nice ending. At this point it's still building up in all directions, most of it is keeping me interested, but my wife finds some of it to be more filler than anything. I suppose this feeling may be due to the introduction of so many other characters, she wants to see what happens to the ones we already know.

It was fun to see Jaime go full Tyrion when all other options were exhausted. His wits saved Brienne, himself? Not so much.

Well, my guess is (again, not having read the books, all assumption) that regardless of who she gives a dragon to, the dragon will always be loyal to her, and will do her bidding, like setting fire to Kraznys and Astaphor the second she commands it.

Great episode. Loved the way the episode ended with Jaime losing his hand.
Also found it funny that Robb started to laugh because Edmure couldn't hit the boat, and LOVED the look that Cat gave him, just a totally mother/son interaction.

Ramming the Hound's head into the cart on purpose got a laugh out of me too. It was nice to see some humor come from characters besides Tyrion. That's something the books have a little more of than the show has so far. But as they introduce more secondary and tertiary characters, I expect that to happen more often.

Has Jack Gleeson (Joffrey) done any convention appearances? He makes a great villain, and it would be nice to see him getting his props from the public.
I remember reading a tweet from Sophie Turner insisting that Gleeson is really a nice person in real life (which leads me to think that he must get some 'hate' fan mail) and a comment from her saying that he cracks her up doing funny raps on the set. Also heard him, Turner, and Maisie Williams doing a funny humming version of the GoT theme song.

I am amazed at how many people missed what actually happened with Pod. Tyrion paid them to not take the money and give him a great experience and more confidence.

I totally misread this scene. I thought they didn't accept money because they used him for information. And that when Tyrion said, "We must have details," he didn't mean "We must have your sex secrets," but "You must tell us what you told them about our plans."
Why? I'm really confused about this exchange between The Hound and Arya. What was Arya trying to say to him? What was she trying to accomplish?

Kind of a reverse deal with Tywin Lannister, though I think non-readers are starting to realize he's a douche by this point. In terms of Jaime
Spoiler:
But overall, I think he's shown he's willing to lend a hand to help the situation.

If Tyrion had lost his nose like in the books, I'm sure the show would've done a "Tycho Brahe" and given him a gold fake nose (which would be as easy and cheap-to-do as some golden makeup for filming the show.)

BTW, did anyone else think it was inconsistent when Robb was dressing down his uncle (I think the guy's his uncle) for fighting Tywin Lannister and taking the mill, he also complained about him losing something like 208 men in the battle, yet in the 1st Season Robb threw away 2,000 men (10x as many men and 10% of his army at the time) in a diversionary attack just so he could capture Jaime.
