Norma really freaked out trying to climb the fence.

This show is awesome. How would have thunk it. And no one really seems like an idiot. A freak, almost everyone, but an idiot or completely implausible plottings not on this show.

I am so glad that it is renewed! I missed the other thread entirely.

Norma is really going off the hinges in this episode. Not that I blame her. I cannot believe she got arrested this episode; I figured they were going to stretch that out for a long time. Poor Norman, every time he leaves the house to have some fun, something horrible happens to her. No wonder he never leaves.

Yeah, I continue to be impressed with this show. The stuff with Nora this week was pretty good.

"How those new linens working out for you?" Best line of the week.

Norma looked sexy as hell in the scenes with Zack. Especially when he was running his hands up her skirt and then they finally got it on.

"I KILLED THE CRAP OUT OF HIM!" gets my vote.

After watching the first two episodes, I was on the fence with the series. The last two have definitely got my interest levels up. Pretty good stuff. I'm definitely curious to see where they go from here.

Is this worth watching? I watched through last weeks, leaning toward dropping.

Consensus seems to be its slowly improving. I'd watch it.

This is my 'must see' show each week. I can't believe how much has already happened in just 4 episodes. Very happy to see it got picked up for 10 more. Hope this gets the Blu-ray treatment and not simply dumped to DVD like so many other shows.

Vera is so good in this.

It's probably just me, but does anybody else think Deputy Shelby and Dylan look like the same guy?

Yes and both have minimal acting skills.

It might be just a DVD release since Universal produces it and I don't think Universal shows get a Blu-ray release.

I'm not too worried about Bates Motel and Hannibal getting shafted by Universal with DVD-only releases, especially not when they're first seasons and they don't have to contend with the "do I keep buying DVDs to match my old seasons?" OCD conundrum.

With tv shows being announced for dvd/blu-ray earlier and earlier these days, has there been any word on when this is coming out ?

Bates Motel doesn't immediately strike me as a potential Blu-ray release. It doesn't neatly fit into the sci-fi/fantasy/action categories that tend to end up on Blu-ray.

Anyone else have issues with their recording? I have Fios and there was a lot of skipping and artifacting, but my other recordings seem fine.

That is likely a local signal issue with your neighborhood's FiOS feed.

No issues with my DirecTV feed.

I figured. I was just curious if anyone else experienced the same. I was ready to download the episode it because it was extremely annoying to watch it that way.

I thought since Friday Night Lights was a Universal release and never got a blu-ray release the same would happen to Bates Motel since I think one of the FNL guys is producing this show.
