I read it was originally titled Insert, but after reshooting he pilot it was bumped down on the executive's wish list. That's when they settled on Delete.

I think it had more to do with the similarly titled tech-noir porno about to be released starring Kayla Louise Sheffield.

^ I read it's nowhere near as good as the series because they had to scramble to rewrite the script when Kyle MacLachlan refused to return as the lead.

delete is such a piece of shit. It's a total rip-off of a little-known Indonesian series called Format. That show had better acting, camera work, and action scenes. delete is just WAY too American for my tastes.

I read it's not as good as the original French show it's based on, D'eleté.

That was just another remake of the Indonesian show. It would have been awesome too had they not replaced Léa Seydoux after the mini-series/pilot. The new actress had a "no nudity" clause so it just wasn't the same.
