The day’s events bring all of our cops face to face with some of their greatest fears. The death of a baby shakes Lydia to her core. Sammy is questioned by I.A. about his altercation with Tammi. A difficult day on the job causes Cooper to seek solace in Hicks but finds none. Ben becomes more deeply involved with Brooke while continuing to see Elena.

That was an awesome episode.

The scene with John and Lucero going against the bloody guy with the knife was intense.

Lucero is a great partner. It's too bad he's probably only a 1 season deal like Tang last season.

And that car chase scene with Ben & Sammy against the Attica guy was nuts. at Sammy pulling out of the chase.

And damn, Ben got his ass kicked yet again.

Pretty sad about that mother smothering her baby after taking a sleeping pill. Interesting how it freaked out Lydia and she just laid there wide awake while Christopher was sleeping.

at Dewey telling John to work on his cactus or write a musical.

In that high speed pursuit with Sammy and Ben, I could see the roads on the side blocked off with cones and cop cars. Sort of took me out of the chase, but it's a minor nitpick.

Weird to see Dewey back, even if was 2 weeks later. Seems weird they'd give him a clean bill of health after that short of time.

Attica! Attica! Attica! *mauled by a dog and killed*

I sort of got the feeling that Coop's FTO was headed in this direction, with him eating his gun. Gerald McRaney makes a good drunk, though.

After seeing the video, I'd say Sammy probably would've been vindicated. She clearly attacks him. I wonder if he'll send it in anonymously.

I wish we got a bit more of the story of the guy with the knife and the (neighbor?) kid biking in to try to rescue him...

I don't understand why Ben thinks it's a good idea to slum it in the hood. He can get any number of women, so why go there. I thought for sure the end of last weeks episode was going to be bad.

But him coming out of the shower this week and having some 'friends' waiting to play domino with him seems super cool right?

Did i miss the episode where Dewy knows John is gay? When did this happen?

I was wondering this as well... I didn't think anyone but Tang knew?

Dewy and John appear to know each other forever. So I'm assuming he knows from way back.
