I have to go with Mildred Pierce.
I saw it on HBO 2 summers ago when it aired and it was a really well made miniseries. It's a little slow, but the character development was great and I enjoyed how the storytelling worked. Kate Winslet was amazing in it.
I also enjoyed The Pacific as well.
