Why did Trump have to cut off LaToya and Omarosa? That was the most exciting part of the show! LOL at LaToya still calling him "Michael Duncan Clarke."

With Penn being the liberal atheist & Trace Adkins the christian conservative, there was no way Trump wasn't picking Trace Adkins despite the fact that Penn was better in almost all aspects (except for total money raised in the last task). Shades of picking Joan Rivers over Annie Duke.

Why was Bret Michaels missing? Rodman made it sound like there was bad blood there.

When Trump brought up the "bad stuff" that Penn had written about him, I knew he wasn't gonna win. Does anyone know what Penn actually said about Trump? I assume it wasn't that bad otherwise he wouldn't have been asked to come back. If only Penn had raised more in the final challenge, it would have been hard for Trump to justify picking Trace. But then again, Trump is mesmerized by anything Gary Busey does so just being on Trace's team was enough of a reason to give him the win.

After describing an uncomfortable confrontation with co-star Clay Aiken, here’s what he wrote:

No one loves anyone on the set enough to say, “Hey listen, man, take a little break and think about this.” No one cares. We’re all trying to save our own sorry asses. Then the next day, Trump says something insane like, “I’m glad you showed some backbone. I like passion.” He means, of course, he likes passion for his little TV show, but it feels like he’s saying the outburst was a good thing. We’ve chosen to make this whackjob, with the cotton candy piss hair and the birther shit, into someone we want to please.

Apparently though, the book wasn't published until after the new season started filming.

Don't be surprised if several team competitions are music based. At least this may be the case in the final competition.

There is no way he will get rid of Atkins...
I called it from the beginning - note even the singing Trace did in the finale.

I don't have a crystal ball - it's just that Trace Atkins was squeaky clean: huge country singer, huge fan base, tear-jerker moments, etc...

Although, after watching the entire season, I do have to agree that Atkins was the best choice.

I think Penn probably should have won, but it wasn't as egregious as the year he chose Joan Rivers over Annie Duke.

It shouldn't be that blatantly obvious but it was.

I doubt it, he was just on a week or so ago. He has a new show, he might be busy with that.

With the plain apprentice, whoever has the Wharton degree is going to beat the other person no matter how hard they work or how good of a job they do. And with Celebrity Apprentice, the winner is going to be whoever has the best marquee value, or in the case of Penn/Adkins, Penn is going to lose out of spite no matter how well he performs.
