Brutal TV show

Hello everyone! First timer on the forums here .

All right, I'll cut right through the cheese.
I've been clustered to alot of TV shows lately. And when I mean clustered - I hear about a good one, download all 6 or 7 seasons at once, and watch them within the week. (Figure of speech)

Atm I've seen The wire, Dexter, It's always sunny in philadelphia, Misfits, arrested development, Game of thrones, community, spartacus, and last but definitely not least (It was my first show actually) "Oz".

Atm I am watching "The shield"

"Now what is this guy's point after all this?" I hear you asking. Well, I came here to ask - What would be one of the better "brutal", "graphical" series out there?
I mean shows like "Oz". I find this pretty much the best TV show out there - It's been a year since I watched it, but still think about it alot. Stuff like those rape scenes might horrend me, but I loved them!

I've just been searching for such a show - A good one that is, I don't mean for some cheap horror shows with chopped up limbs.

I've heard the shield was a pretty brutal show - I'm at episode 6, season 1 - But not really digging it that much atm.

I was wondering if you guys had any more quality suggestions for me?

Thanks in advance y'all!

The fact that you said in your post that you love rape scenes makes me question your taste in entertainment.

Re: Brutal TV show

I don't think there's another show as rapey as Oz.

Sons Of Anarchy can be brutal at times. But if The Shield isn't doing it for you, then I don't know.

Re: Brutal TV show

You can't really bring up "Rape" as a highlight and not expect a bunch of BS responses.

Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and Spartacus all have their brutal moments. I'm sure Strike Back and Banshee are full of them.

Human Target season 2

That was the most brutal 13 hours I've watched in recent years. And I'm being serious.

If you're looking to sell Kindles, you're right - meet them at an ATM, preferably attached to a bank.

Re: Brutal TV show

Boardwalk empire has its moments
The sopranos has is moments
The shield is Defintely brutal in spots, especially a few acevada scenes..
Dexter can be brutal at times..

Prison break had its moments
Profit had its moments

Curb your enthusiasm can be very brutal and train wreck tv.. Good stuff though

Shock and awe really started with oz, before that it was a much different tone..

Nypd blue had some mild moments.. But still season 1 was great...

Six feet under not as brutal but a show worth watching right until the end...

Re: Brutal TV show

Heroes got pretty brutal as the series went on. Not the content of the show, just the experience of watching it.

I don't know. Quite frankly, this whole thread horrends me.
