Re: Banshee -- "The Kindred" -- 2/08/13

unless i missed something siobhan was not dealing any vig justice. she got served, sadly, the house of her birth as one giant birthday candle.

i liked her little "when you stay the night, it won't be to protect me"

very worthy show in strike back style. lots of female nudity, preposterous violence and great action/fight sequences.

i am even more curious about her shoulder scar now.

toss up whether this or the Americans is my fav out of the new batch of shows. this may have it by virtue of A1 steak sauce bottle to the mouth in pilot.

Heh, wouldn't the copious amounts of nudity cause it to immediately trump The Americans?

Also, if anyone's interested, the Banshee: Origins digital comic from IDW has also been made into a regular comic you should be able to get free from your local comic store (or look for it on Ebay). I found one at one of the comic stores I was visiting a few weeks ago and made sure to grab it.

Leo Fitzpatrick is looking old as hell. I barely recognized him.

Good episode this week. Lucas had to make a deal with the devil in order to rid the town of the biker scum. Doubt that'll turn out well for him.

Agreed. Couldn't put a face to a name until about twenty minutes in.

Loving this show.

My god that Amish chick has a sick body. I hope we continue to see her nude. Yet another great episode.

So Hood planning to knock over the casino? Sure seems like it.

Interesting. I wonder if that means
Spoiler:
his dad is going to be taken out in some way and he takes over the casino business.

Re: Banshee -- "The Kindred" -- 2/08/13

Got to this episode a little late. I know there is a new episode tonight.

Fucking sick ass episode.

Like Strike Back, this is a total dudes show. Hot chicks galore and a shit load of ass kicking.

The Amish chick that Hood is banging has the sickest body.

Loved how feisty, angry and bitchy Carrie was after she was nearly assaulted by the biker dudes.

Job fucking cracks me up. Funny he wasn't in drag this episode.

Siobhan was great too. Sucks that her house burned to the ground.

I liked that line too. Kind of implying something huh?

The scar scene after the credits was interesting.

It was really brief. Siobhan was looking at the scar around her neck in the mirror.

Just quickly called the episode up On Demand and FF right to the end.

Oh it was around her neck. I kept looking for it and couldn't find it.
