Wow, opposite ends of the spectrum for me. That's the second time I went out after the first episode. The other time, I had picked the golfer girls who couldn't see the pit stop right in front of them. I should have picked Bates and Anthony with second draft pick, but I second guessed myself and picked the firefighters Arrrggh!

Yep. I don't have high hopes for my newlywed young Republicans in hot pink going past episode 4 or 5. At least they seems smart enough to manipulate others, but they are still weak physically and suck at getting places quickly.

I'm pleasantly surprised at my accidental double-down pick. While I don't think they'll win (the wife doesn't have the same drive as the husband), they keep placing above many other teams.

So stupid, the twins met all my criteria for picking a team, young, male and educated. They were even twins, they had to have some sort of E.S.P. going on. I guess I should be more racist next time and know that they couldn't swim.

Hopefully the father/son team can't go in the next leg and my team is back.

Wow, Dave and Connor's unlikely victory tonight was amazing! Then they find out that it was a double length leg!

Even though the ending implied doubt, they still have the Express Pass, so I think they will continue with the race until a challenge comes up that Dave simply can't do.

Yeah, that was a huge mistake considering they were on a challenge that literally required them to just stand there.

I think they know they are almost done. The father is not a young man and it will take time to recover from torn ligaments. So running around the world on crutches isn't helping. They probably wanted to win a leg (no pun intended) and go out on top.

ETA: I am still rooting for a parent/son or daughter winning team. It hasn't happened yet on a regular TAR!

Yep, they gave up after 5 minutes and used it. Anyone remember if the pit-stop instructions at the start was a "may be eliminated" or a "will be eliminated"?

I know they've done these two-parters before, I just don't remember if they count it as a real pit stop where someone can be booted or not. And yes, my team sucking has me worried.

Typically in the two-parters there is no elimination...HOWEVER, typically there's no prize for coming in first either.

I'm glad Jessica and John have been a strong team so far. I have a feeling they'll get u-turned later on in the race that tends to happen to my teams.

Chuck has been really impressive, if Wynona was in as good of shape as Chuck is they would probably be frontrunners.

Glad the Roller Moms decided to do the sand challenge. That looked much quicker than the fruit challenge, just much tougher.
