Cool concept and a good episode so far.
Even if the "arms" are a little "iRobot"-like. |
Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Hookman" -- 2/04/13
Coincidence that they got Robocop to play an ex-cop with robotic limbs?
Wouldn't Steve and Danny have jumped into the water after the bad guy drove into the ocean? Aren't they obligated to try to save him? |

Only watched the intro so far, but why would a double amputee with robotic hands need to wear latex gloves?

Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Hookman" -- 2/04/13
awesome, they had Robocop's gun in the gunstore
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psfc31a4ca.jpg but danny's antigun rant during that scene was totally unnecessary |
Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Hookman" -- 2/04/13
Was that gun rant in the original episode? If so kudos for redoing an episode that is socially relevant today.
Thought it was a fantastic episode overall. |

REALLY liked the directing and editing in this episode. Distinctly different from the more realistic car chase to the retro graphics at the front of the show. Hope to see more from him...

Yeah, too bad Danny was revealed to be a retard as well as a whiny midget. |
Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Hookman" -- 2/04/13
I thought the team would get dim sum at Char Hung Sut at the end. The whole gun debate was a bit forced.

Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Hookman" -- 2/04/13
Oh man, I forgot about the gun store scene. The gun store owner and him ripping on Danno was the best part of the episode. rotfl
Once again, Danno + automatic weapon = hundreds of misses at the target. |
Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "Hookman" -- 2/04/13
Well, I just got around to this episode recently, but that gun store owner (in the screencap above) is Max Weinberg. Yes, of the E Street Band and the Max Weinberg 7.
