Cool seeing John Nolan in this. So I guess he's gonna be another recurring villain. I bet the lead he gave Annie Parisse (I forgot her character's name) was false and it was simply his way of getting Harold killed so he can take over the machine.

Was this the first episode with no actual "person of interest"?

No, they have had recurring serialized storylines with no POI.

Great episode.

I guess that explains how Annie Parisse is now on The Following.

Stanton was a fun recurring villain. I loved her voice. It's so sexy, especially the scenes where she was communicating with Reese and Snow.

It's funny how the program/virus that she uploaded in set to go off in approximately 5 months according to Finch. That would be around May during sweeps and during season finale time.

Now that the FBI assumes that Snow was the man in the suit, looks like that storyline is taking a back seat for now.

Next week we are back to the POI format.

I loved the final little bit of paper we saw. But it was pretty obvious before that.

Technically Kara's number came up, which is how Finch knew it was her when talking to Carter.

The quality of this show for being on a network is astounding. Probably is my favorite network drama now.

This. Frankly it blows much of the cable crap out of the water (comparing it to the ep of Justified I saw for example)

I'm guessing it has to be because of Nolan...gotta watch more of his stuff...

While it's good, it's not that good. There are a ton of shows on cable which are better than this.

Perhaps I'm going into semantics here but are they any as good, or better, for the speculative fiction/sci-fi genre that doesn't have religious overtones or gore like Game of Thrones?

I disagree. This is a show that is firing on all cylinders. Enjoy the ride, it is as spectacular a run as broadcast TV has ever seen!

+1
It's a fun show because Reese is basically Batman with a supercomputer that predicts crime, if he were an ex-CIA agent. Definitely an entertaining hour each week, but the overall plotting is not that sophisticated and each character's backstory is fairly predictable to the role they play on the show.
