<--- Checked Friday's listing just in case Grizz & Herz was real. It's not.

Satisfying end to the show, I suppose.

Was this the only time we ever saw Pete's wife?

I caught the first few seasons of the show, none since. Tuned in tonight to see the finale and thought it was merely ok.

You guys are crazy, great finale. Can't believe after a bad 5th season how they rebounded so well with the last 2

Last weeks show would have made for a better finale.

This thread must be full of horses because all I see are naysayers!

Thought the finale was great. Overall the show had a lot of hits and a fair amount of misses but I thought the final season was great and they did a very good job wrapping things up. Not overly sappy but just enough heart to give these characters a good sendoff.

Re: 30 Rock -- 1 Hour Series Finale -- "Hogcock!/Last Lunch" -- 1/31/13

Well, that's over.

Horrible hour. Even worse that it's the series finale. I was so sick of Kenneth and Jen Maroney by the end of the episode that I'm glad the series is over.

The Blimpies gag was funny, as was the Liz chat room stuff, but that's about it.

A disappointment of a finale. For a show that used to be one of the best on TV, it sure went out like a wet fart.

Loved it. Tons of laughs, a great send off...couldn't be happier. I'll miss this show a lot.

And future Kenneth was a perfect ending.

The ending was an homage to St Elsewhere's ending.

Loved the Bespin cloud car at the end. I thought they also had the flying taxi from The Fifth Element but it might have just been a generic flying taxi.

So how did Kenneth not age?

I'm pretty sure we have seen Pete's wife before but it's been quite awhile...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks. I didn't get it from the snowglobe.

She's been on several times.

Well, according to his tombstone, he was born in 1781. So he hasn't aged much at all in 232 years.

There was one scene where Pete was talking about having sex with his wife and we see a brief scene with a fat woman snoring while Pete presumably has sex with her (the shot would be from Pete's POV if he was on top of her). Not sure if it's the same actress, though.

I must have missed something, what was with that song Jenna sang at the end?

It was a reference to Rural Juror, the movie Jenna made in season 1.

Wasn't great. But liked the ending with Kenneth. And Jack on the boat.

Still could have ended on-top a season or two ago.

I was expecting Rachel Dratch to show up at some point or at least some kind reference to her.

Jack and the boat was good as was Jenna singing the Rural Juror song but I didn't find much else terribly funny in this episode.

A few funny parts, but for the series finale it was disappointing.

I was expecting a really funny return/cameo of that early season staff guy, the weird skinny Ray Romanoish guy with the bug eyes...

meh, a couple of years ago if this show went out I would be upset, but it was time. Kinda glad it's gone, tbh.

That was fantastic, especially the second half. The show definitely ran its course but it never managed to become poor (i'm looking right at you HIMYM). Very solid ending to an incredibly well written show.

A song from the Broadway play based on the movie based on the novel "The Rural Juror".

Re: 30 Rock -- 1 Hour Series Finale -- "Hogcock!/Last Lunch" -- 1/31/13

So-so for me. I actually kind of liked Jack leaving on the boat but not the turning right around for see-through dishwashers. (Really?) Not enough Salma Hayek. I liked that Pete actually did change his identity. But to be honest, though there were always a few chuckles, I was sick of most of the characters on the show as well, and I'm fine with it ending.
