Guess NBC is looking to burn off some episodes! why do they do this?? Guess this will get us to the end game quicker.

Probably because of "The Farm" Pilot that will air as an episode of The Office. They need to schedule it somewhere. And there is now 24 episodes this season instead of 22 that was originally ordered.

Eric Wareheim has a cameo in one of these episodes. First time I'll tune in all season.

Neither episode was all that impressive.

However Merideth complaining that her number was wrong in the bathroom was solid but Creed claiming the number posted is just as good just with less mileage was

True that.

They are really coming up with some really ridiculous stuff to "drama" up the end of the show. The boom guy has been around for the whole run of the show, and just now suddenly shows an interest in Pam? Makes a lot of sense.

The boom guy apparently didn't give a shit when someone tried to KILL Oscar just mere weeks ago.

Re: The Office -- Two new episodes -- "Junior Salesman" and "Vandalism" -- 1/31/13

Well, the boom guy obviously wasn't in love with Oscar like he is with Pam.

When Brian dropped the boom mic the sound should have become muffled. Or is there a second boom operator recording audio? There seem to be at least 3 cameras shooting all the time.

I'm impressed with Dwight...he keeps a damn clean email box! What are they using there?? It looked like they're still on Windows 98.

For some reason I thought the extended scene of Mose running out through the parking lot was hilarious.

Also for Breaking Bad fans: Badger!

Yeah, it took me a while to remember where I knew him (Badger) from.

I'd like to think that being in love with someone isn't a requirement for wanting to prevent them from getting severely injured. But yeah, Brian is getting a bit creepy...well he already was last week, I thought.

Maybe he's got a real hard case of the Beesly circa season 2 and 3. Obviously all loved her then...I guess he just cant quit her.

I think they shouldve introduced and broke the 4th wall with the scene where he stops the guy from running at Pam, and not force some love angle. It would've been much more ambiguous to do it that way...and have him leave with the words he said.

And obviously it was Brad William Henke from the get go who defaced the painting. Why else would someone like that just randomly show up in the warehouse cast.

Well Jim is away for an extended period of time right now. I believe the only other time they were separated for a long time was when Pam was away. So now is a pretty good chance for the guy to make a move.

This will never happen but I'll think it's great if it turns out that Pam has been banging the boom guy on the side.

Maybe Boom Guy will turn out to be the Scranton Strangler.

Or because Do Not Harm launched tonight and 1600 Penn isn't such a fantastic lead-in with such incredibly low numbers?

Yeah, probably that...

This whole boom guy love interest is stupid. If they were to break Jim and Pam up apart during the final season the (remaining) fans would revolt. It's obvious nothing is going to happen between Boomtown and Pam. Personally, I'd love to see it, but it would just be too dark of a road to go down, especially since Pam already left one boyfriend for Jim, now, being married, with kids? puhleese.

Well they did have Angela hire a contract killer to take out Oscar, so Pam getting boomed by the Boom Guy wouldn't be the darkest thing they did this season.

Why do they need a boom operator? They're all miked!

Clark mentioned something about using Windows 95 a few weeks ago.

Actually, I bet they aren't all wearing mics...just the main characters. Otherwise someone's trying to keep track of 10+ audio levels at all times.

I have been enjoying the season and a situation where spouses are apart is certainly when things like affairs happen. I just wish the crew had been seen throughout the show. It's too out of nowhere now.

I guess the justification could easily be that it did happen before, it was just cut out of the final product. But since this is turning into a "story" for Pam and Jim, they've left it in. Still feels weak to me.

And again, boom guy didn't intervene there. Wouldn't that make him and the camera guy an accomplice had it gone down?

If they had planned on introducing the documentary crew, they should have taken that in mind when writing some of the ridiculous plots.

I was wondering if they might be having he documentary wall broken as part of a reason to "end' filming it and with it the Office...?

Not the worst episodes this season... but these two were pretty weak.

Not that I feel it deserves an explanation, but there is obviously more than crew filming. It could easily have been the non-Brian crew with that scene (and Brian is only intervening because he likes Pam).
