13 episode 4th season.

Only 1 thread for Archer this season. Anyone who is keeping up with this can feel free to bump it. It's becoming extremely challenging to do weekly threads and seeing if it's worth doing it when participation is probably at an all-time low in this forum.

Funniest episode of the past two seasons. Riffing on Archer being the guy in Bob's Burgers was inspired television. Archer continually calling out the Shazam TV show from the '70s (now available on DVD) was a nice touch.

Loved this one. The pig in the pocket gag was inspired.

There was nothing more amazing than having a Bob's Burgers segment. Great episode.

I wish they'd have gotten Eugene Mirman and Kristen Schaal but not that other annoying bastard.

i thought the entire Bob's Burger cast was going to be involved in a crossover? They had said that back at Comic Con this summer.

I don't watch Bob's Burgers, so that part was a bit lost on me. I thought there have been far funnier episodes, but I still enjoyed it. Any extended interaction with Lana and Archer is gold. Love having this show back.

Yeah, it shouldn't have been hard to get a single line each from Kristen, Eugene, and Dan for it. I did love "Bob" not knowing Tina's name

If you're aware Jon Benjamin does voices for both, you were good.

Loved the opening sequence at BB. Good season opener overall.

This. Seeing the entire cast "Archer-ized" was inspired. I had missed most of S3 and worried that would cause me to be lost, but I caught up pretty fast. I know how Barry got stranded in space, but why is he bionic?

I think that was in Season 2

Yeah, it happens at the end of the season two when Archer meets Katya.

Bump new episode tonight

Episode 2 - "The Wind Cries Mary" (Airs January 24, 10:00 pm e/p) - Archer and his former best friend (Timothy Olyphant) are holed up in the Vermont wilderness, fighting hard to come out on top. Written by Adam Reed & Chris Provenzano.

Totally forgot Olyphant was on tonight. (Didn't really pick up on it either. After listening again, you can tell, but it was different enough.)

Liked the coating the inside of the glass too. Seems they're tipping their hat to shows left and right. Pretty cool.

Danger Zone ringtone and Archer's new voice mail cracked me up. *AIIIRRR HOOOOOOOORRRRRRNNNNN!!!!!!!*

What show was the glass coating referencing?

This show is so consistently awesome!

I didn't realize it was Timothy Olyphant, but thought the voice sounded familiar.

Thanks, that's what I figured given the guest star, but I couldn't quite place the incident. I remember now.

I don't get the relevance of the title of this episode, "The Wind Cries Mary". I know it's a Jimi Hendrix song, but I don't know how it relates to the episode. I know someone's gonna make me feel stupid when they point it out for me. ;)

"Mary" is a somewhat old-fashioned slang term for a gay man.

Funniest episode yet! The guy behind the glass (at the weapons depot) looked like Hitler for some reason. I wonder if that was on purpose?

I was expecting last night to be the end of Ron Cadillac, but I'm glad it's not. He's a great foil for Malory.
