Wondering the same. Trying to remember my favorite shows last season and don't remember this. In some cases the last season was the worst, :lol:, although the series finale was awesome.

But in Fringe case, this last season is probably the best of all seasons. Really hope the series finale becomes an instant classic.

5 seasons is pretty solid for anything with a running storyline.
