Which cable channel(s) gets the most viewing from you for scripted shows?

FX

TNT

SyFy

USA

AMC

Showtime

Starz

Cinemax

HBO

Other

are your choices. I'm talking more about watching week to week either through live viewing, DVR, Amazon, Itunes, On Demand.

Those of you who acquire/watch stuff through shady means don't count.

If you don't have cable and only watch stuff on DVDs/BDs (6 months to 1 year after the show is broadcasted), you also don't count.

There isn't much free legal streaming for those who don't have cable. So that doesn't count either. TNT requires a TV provider to watch their content online. AMC doesn't show anything online for free, FX, SyFy, USA has anywhere from a 1 week to 30 day delay.

You're allowed to make more than 1 choice on the poll

For me, it's AMC, HBO, Showtime and USA

What I watch week to week when it's airing:

AMC: The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, The Killing (since it's coming back), Mad Men

Showtime: Dexter, Homeland, Shameless, Californication, House of Lies

HBO: Game of Thrones, Girls, Veep, The Newsroom, Eastbound and Down

USA: Burn Notice, Suits, Covert Affairs, White Collar, Necessary Roughness, Royal Pains.

TNT: Southland, Leverage, Rizzoli and Isles, Falling Skies, Major Crimes, Franklin and Bash, Dallas

I know you've said you work for a cable channel but I sincerely hope you're not lumping those of us who legally get our content thru iTunes, Unbox, OnDemand, DVD/BR etc being as shady as people who pirate content thus none of us counting.

Anyways I'm voting anyways...since either way it's FOXfor me with the Sunday cartoons...but I'd still vote snyways even if I couldn't watch the shows via OTA.

Read my post more carefully. I didn't say that. This is week to week after the program has been broadcast. iTunes, Amazon, On Demand count as they are posted after it airs. As I said, only DVD and Bds don't count since they don't go on market until 6 months to a year after it airs.

Doh, thanks and I forgot TNT also.

I like Psych and think its funny, but I'm a couple of seasons behind and not up to date with it. One of these days I will catch up.

Primarily:

HBO
FX
AMC

I used to watch a lot on USA, but I've burned out on everything except Suits.

Re: Which cable channel(s) gets the most viewing from you for scripted shows?

I like FX as well, but they only have 3 good dramas going (Justified, SOA and AHS) Hopefully The Americans in January is successful.

They have lost quite a few dramas in the last few seasons with the end of Rescue Me, The Shield, Nip/Tuck and the cancellation of Lights out, Terriers, and Damages.

Even though SOA and AHS are their highest rated shows, I just don't think they have enough content to be really competitive.

I guess I have to remove Showtime from my list since I don't actually subscribe.

But don't the premium channels like HBO and Showtime only hit iTunes etc. during the DVD window? E.g., you can't get GOT season 2 on Amazon Video right now.

Yes I know that. I guess I was expecting you to assume non-premium week to week after it airs in regards to ITunes, Amazon, VuDu etc.

You're completely ignoring the fact that F/X has the best comedies.
