This episode strongly suggests that Audrey is possibly the source of the Troubles, which explains why she's immune to direct application of a Trouble.

Riveting episode, as many things this season were finally explained and we got hints about Audrey's role in the town. I thought it was going to be another freak of the week story but they actually used the girl's power in a logical way to get answers. A poorer show would have skipped that solution.
