Fuck that was a great episode. I can't wait to see what happens to Richard. I don't know if he's going to make it or not but one thing is for sure, if he's going down he's taking a lot of people with him.

I got goosebumps when the crowd parted and Capone strolled through chomping on that cigar. Great moment.

I, too. I, too.

Those goons on the lookout for Nucky at the hospital...from the distance they were to Nucky's borrowed car (not even his own, but even his own looked like the one he borrowed, and the other one, and Gyp's car, and Arnold Rothstein's car, and Al Capone's car....)

Holy fuck, that was awesome! We are in for a helluva finale.

I really hope Nucky has a change in attitude after all is said and done. It seems like he's beginning to realize the way he treats the people who helps him is not the way to be.

What a great episode. I turned to my wife at the end and said this was my "Pine Barrens" of Boardwalk. Loved it and can't wait for next week.

Coincidentally, Pine Barrens was directed by Steve Buscemi.

Re: Boardwalk Empire -- "Two Imposters" -- 11/25/12

Well, my conclusion a couple weeks ago that Capone would join Nucky came true. It was the only logical reason to keep Capone and Chicago in the story line.

I'm in the minority, I know, but Empire is the best show on TV and is unfairly given second place status to Homeland. This episode proved that.

For those who didn't watch the preview for next week, suffice it to say I have NO idea how they are going to fit all that action into one hour. Hold on to your seats.

Awesome episode. While some parts of the season have felt slow and drawn out (mostly Margaret's shit) this one delivered on all fronts. I watched it late at night and nearly woke up the whole house by yelling out "FUCK YEAH!" when Capone showed up at the end. Cannot wait for next week.

I've known nice, normal fathers who weren't this good and tender with their children. It's probably the sweetest, unassuming thing any father could do, yet this we see from a cold-blooded killer like Capone? Eh, takes all kinds.

Homeland doesn't rate at all in my eyes. Poorly scripted show and ridiculous plot lines. Boardwalk Empire is top 5 of all time. Right there with the Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad and Deadwood.

Watched this last night. Great set-up for next week's season finale. This season has gone by way too fast.

I whole-heartedly agree. I saw some of Homeland, and thought it was corny.

Right now, as far as the Sunday night, 9pm schedule is concerned:

01: "Boardwalk Empire" - watched live Sunday night
02: "The Walking Dead" - watched Monday On-Demand
03: "Dexter" - watched Tuesday On-Demand

But, but are you discounting the way Danes rolls her eyes and how Lewis screws up his mouth. Not to even mention Patinkin's furrowed brow. How can you just dismiss all of that emmy award winning acting.

Admittedly the storyline isn't Strike Back worthy and maybe a little Shameless cheesy.

Do we know what the title of this episode is alluding to? Who are the "Two Imposters?"

I think it refers to the two guys that set up Luciano.

Hadn't thought of that.

If Wiki is any indicator, we will see the Jack Dempsey-Luis Firpo boxing match next season-ish?

I spent the last 10 minutes of this episode with a big smile on my face, and it kept getting bigger and bigger. Brilliantly done all around and I can't freakin' wait for the season finale. I only hope it delivers on all the promise set up here.

It's very impressive how they are tying up storylines this season, even those that didn't seem to matter (Margaret and the hospital). Looks to be one hell of a finale.

I was impressed that they found time to put a little historical accuracy in there, with Luciano's arrest coinciding with his real arrest in 1923.

Re: Boardwalk Empire -- "Two Imposters" -- 11/25/12

This episode is within the top 5 hours of television that I've ever watched. In-fucking-credible!
Agree and this show is better than most of the movies Hollywood puts out.

Lucianno seemed kind of gullible to fall for that trap.

A British guy plays Capone so it should not be a surprise how well he plays the role.
