I'm wondering how they're going to effectively transition Michonne to the prison, especially with Rick nearing near psychotic levels of distrust. Hell, current Rick might seem more crazy than The Governor to her.

stupid Merle, practice what you preach ... don't think you've seen the last of "Neil"

Also: damn. What an episode. Loved the ending; loved Michonne finding her way back; loved her haunting eyes and Rick's haunted eyes meeting. Daryl finding and carrying Carol was really nice, too.
Andrea, though, is going to be Patient Zero for some post-civilization strain of an STD after fooling around with Shane and now the Governor.
Can't wait for the next two episodes; going to be a great bit heading into the break.

While I've been pretty critical of this series, it has shown a marked improvement in the third season. Sarah Silverman hit the nail on the head during tonight's Talking Dead when she said it was hard to care about any of the characters before now and that Rick was a fairly unlikable lead until his breakdown at the end of "Killer Within" made us genuinely feel for the guy.

The phone bit was hokey and overdone, but at least it set Rick's mind right.
In season one, when Rick and someone else were masquerading as walkers, didn't they specifically say not to get the blood & guts on their skin? Michonne practically got a mouthful when she gutted one.

Glad they wrapped up the Carol storyline quickly (and in a satisfactory manner).
I thought Michonne kept her "neutered" zombies around because the smell kept other walkers away. Yet she seemed surprised when the guts she had on her had the same effect?

I don't think her reasoning was the smell but rather the fact that they were just walkers in her presence. As such other walkers wouldn't try to get her since there is nothing "interesting" going on with her.

This was episode was crazy good. I kind of wish they would just do these seasons like 24 and run all the episodes for the season. I know this show is extreme but is it extreme enough to have rape. With Maggie is their hands and if they are planning to kill her anyway. I have no doubt she would be raped in that situation. However, they toned down the racism which I think was a mistake so probably not.
On the the other hand I could see them using honey instead of violence to get the info they want. After all Rick's group is the type of people you would want in your group. Well maybe not Rick from the governor's prospective.

You mean back when they didn't know that everyone is already infected and thus were being extra cautious because they were completely ignorant about how walkers were created? Yes, they did say that back then.

God, that ending was incredible. Loved the look in Michonne's eyes when she met Rick. This season's really firing on all cylinders.
It's like it's a completely different show.

Solid episode, though the phone plot device might have been the dodgiest thing this show has done in three seasons. On a lesser show that might have been a jump-the-shark moment. It still felt like a cheap stunt. I wouldn't let Rick lead me out of a paper bag. I think it is time to put Carl in charge.
