Oye. I watch SNL 'just because'. This episode hardly had anything going for it.
The Bruno Mars one was lifeless too. Louis CK and Seth McFarlane are probably my favorite from this season.

Really? Varying quality of each actual sketch aside, I think she's been really good with everything she's been given. She hasn't been nearly as annoying as Wiig, and she's also pretty hot.

So far I have not been that impressed with Cecily Strong. She can do all kinds of roles but nothing which is really funny.

Is the end near for Kenan?
Saturday Night Live's Lorne Michaels is teaming with another one of his featured performers for a scripted comedy set up at NBC.
Kenan Thompson, who has been with the sketch comedy series since 2003, is attached to write, star in and executive produce an untitled comedy, which has received a script commitment from the network.
The single-camera comedy would star Thompson as Kenan Monroe, a guy who gives up his New York life and moves to his in-laws' house in the suburbs, where he must contend with three generations of problems.
Michaels will executive produce through his Broadway Video banner and Universal Television, marking the second project he has set up this development season. NBC in August gave script orders to an untitled brothers comedy from SNL's Seth Meyers and his younger brother, Josh Meyers (MadTV). That project, will be penned by the siblings, also hails from Michaels' Broadway Video and Universal TV.
