Oh, this episode better be good after the disaster last week...haha

I actually think Grimm is better than 5-0 at this point.

I don't get why you thought last week was horrible. Yeah story-wise it was a little corny, but it was a Halloween themed episode. I think it served it's purpose as forgettable, yet watchable filler.

I guess you really want the show to get back to the Wo Fat arc huh? It's funny because most people on the H50 Facebook page hate that arc.

yes, I do like the serialized episodes and arcs more, even though I know this is not a serialized show.

I do enjoy the characters (even though Kono is useless), so maybe that's why I keep watching. The banter and camaraderie amongst everyone, against the backdrop of the Hawaiian scenery in HD, is great.

Very good episode! The main plot was interesting, which reminded me of "24"

I enjoyed the backstory as well. I gotta admit, I'm a fan of TI.

I watched Bones and this episode back to back.

Talk about double punches in the guts.

At least 5-0 had something worthy of their time and of course they had actually called for help from other agencies.

If it was a proximity sensor on the bomb, why not put something else in Danny's place?

that these fools are running around chasing a mad bomber and they'll indiscriminantly open up a trunk, bag, etc. And at NJ Danno shooting that hand cannon.

The MVP was the bomb squad.

And why the hell would someone put a proximity sensor on a vest bomb?

I wonder if vest bombs (as traps), proximity sensors on bombs (as traps) and the whole bomb-around-your-neck-for-ransom have ever happened in real life, or if they were pure inventions of TV writers. Has anyone heard of anything similar to these set-ups happening in real life?

Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "I Ka Wa Mamua" -- 11/12/12

Good episode, though the three stories in one threw me a bit. First it was a flashback to 10 years ago, then current time, then a flashback to 10 hours ago. I liked seeing the backstory with Danny, but I think the story was so linear that they had to incorporate the flashbacks to keep it interesting.

Disappointed that there were fewer product placements than usual.

WTF is Terrence Howard doing? Has he fallen that far? Why would he guest star on this for maybe 10 minutes?

I had to Yahoo him to find out who he was and I still don't know.

Pretty good episode and was surprised his partner was killed.

Thought the same thing, but then figured he probably got a few thousand dollars and a free stay in Hawaii for that 10 minutes of screentime. Landing a guest spot on 5-0 is a pretty good gig, IMO.

I recognized him from something else but I didn't know his real name. Is he that big of a star?

I wasn't surprised his partner was killed. She ain't McGarrett who should have been killed 20 times over so far with all the gunfights he's in.

^ Yea he has been the lead or a major player in several big movies recently; Iron Man being one of them.
Most might know him from Crash. Which I know most people here hate it but I thought he did a great job in that movie.

Red Tails well...

He was a pretty big up-and-coming star until he freaked out over his Iron Man salary.
