Soapy horror like 666 Park Avenue will be the only type of horror content on the broadcast networks going forward, though some would claim ABC tried earlier this year with that mini-series that was really a back-door shot at a full series. Unfortunately it was awful (the lost footage from the Amazon show).

TVLine.com just reported today that episode 13 will be written as a "series finale"

Don't throw in the towel yet if your still watching or have a few episodes unwatched.

Too late . I deleted a couple of unwatched episodes from my DVR after the announcement. Maybe I'll catch it when the whole thing is on Hulu Plus or Netflix.

Great!

We just watched the last aired episode. It was a really good one, they advanced the story a lot. This could be a really good miniseries.

Caught up with a couple episodes today -- I'll stick with it until the "series finale".

I threw in the towel because I thought the last two episodes were the worst ones aired this season. The way some of the storylines came to a head in them were befuddling and I think the ABC executives thought it was only going to get worse.

Re: 666 Park Avenue -- Sundays (ABC)

Apparently, the Mayan calendar has brought the end of days for 666 Park Ave. The remaining four episodes are pullled from the schedule and may get burned off over the summer.

It wasn't great but I wish they had wrapped it up. By summer, I will have completely forgotten.

Fucking great, considering the last couple of episodes were finally showing some good stuff.

I did like the guy from Lost and would like to know more about him. He was very devious and it never stated exactly who he was. Although it seemed like it was similar to the movie "Devil's Advocate"

Re: 666 Park Avenue -- Sundays (ABC)

That's ridiculous. They had committed to finishing those 13 episodes and giving the show closure. I doubt whatever they replace it with will do any better and they'll piss off those who have been watching.

Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B are replacing it.

My guess is they are hoping it will help sell a few DVDs, to have several unaired episodes remaining on them.

IF it even comes out on DVD. Not all cancelled shows do.

Re: 666 Park Avenue -- Sundays (ABC)

Here's hoping it gets added to Netflix, like other ABC shows that we're added as of late.

Quite a bummer, I was really looking forward to getting some answers/closure on the storylines. Foiled again!

Re: 666 Park Avenue -- Sundays (ABC)

Great news fans of 666 Park Avenue!

It was just announced that starting soon Netflix will carry the show, which means well be able to watch the final few episodes and get some closure on the series. Super stoked for this folks, this was my favourite new series this past fall.
