something happening to the baby ≠ voluntarily killing the baby because its a hinderance

My guess is maybe they find a larger group like Woodbury and someone volunteers to stay and keep the baby. Maybe Glen & Maggie?

if they find a safe haven secure enough contemplate giving away your baby, then why wouldn't the entire group just stay there, and thus, essentially ending the show?

Depends on your endgame. If your goal is to find a haven to survive for 6 months, a year or two until your time is up, then yeah. Camp away, sit and wait to be overrun by walkers or attacked by a "Governor."

This discussion goes back to the first season though. What if your goal is something greater? They've only checked a single major city in the entire country. Wouldn't some still want to seek out a larger solution? Check other major metropolises? Seek out government, military, etc?

It's about how the show handles women and minorities on the series. I know there were some T-Dog jokes earlier in this thread.

I disagree on the article writer's take on Andrea. I don't think the writers of the show are trying to portray her as strong at all. Therefor they are not failing at any such attempt. The problem is that the writer of that article seem to be thinking of Andrea from the comics who's supposed to be a badass in her own right. The TV version only really shares the same name as the comic book version.

As for Carol, it would have been very artificial and unbelievable if she hadn't latched onto a male like Daryl since, unfortunately, it's what a woman like her usually does. Most battered women tend to either stick to their abuser (which Carol did when Shane beat the shit out of her husband) or latch onto another potentially volatile man (remember when she stood still expecting Daryl to hit her).

As for Michonne, I actually really like her. Perma-scowl and all. And her lack of trust makes sense since her "Spidey-sense" is all that's kept her alive thus far. My only complaint about her is that I don't understand why she's so fixated on Andrea. I get that they were together for months but I just don't see any reason for a bond. Especially since Andrea was so quick to brush her off. Does Michonne have a crush on Andrea? Is that it? Or is it the yearning for human companionship? I get the world is a shitty place in their universe but solitude has got to be better than a life with Andrea.

But T-Dog was already bit and bleeding bad at that point. I don't think he was thinking clearly at all.

That said, you are right about walkers sometimes being strong and other times week. However, this season they did establish that Walkers are still dying (which explains some devoured bodies without any head trauma in sight staying dead and not coming back). So perhaps the strong Walkers are the more recently turned.
