Sharknado
http://screencrush.com/sharknado/
When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air. |
Re: Sharknado
I only read the thread title and SOLD.
|
Re: Sharknado
Is this based on a true story?
|
Re: Sharknado
I am so watching this!
|
Re: Sharknado
That tagline is great: "Enough said!"
|
Re: Sharknado
When I first read the title, I thought it was going to be about a Mexican Shark that moves in with a normal, suburban family. Hijinks ensue. The Mexican Shark would be played by Adam Sandler, of course.
|
Re: Sharknado
I read the thread title as "Snarknado," which would also probably be awesome.
|
Re: Sharknado
Assnado.
Enough said! |

Love the picture TGM. Beware of sharknados everybody.
That was awful. I loved it. These movies are so silly and fun, and I got a sweet spot for them. I cannot wait to see what they come up with next. |
Re: Sharknado
 at the weather forecast. DVR set for the encore showing.

Re: Sharknado
That was hilariously bad, yet awesome.
Just all out lunacy from The Asylum. Premise was absurd, special effects were horrible. at the big final sequence when Ian Ziering flew into the open mouth of the flying shark and then just a chain saw and cut his way out of it. That was awesome. 3 big things I learned from the 2 hours: 1) Tara Reid can still get work. 2) Ian Ziering looks pretty good for age 49 3) 90210 residuals must suck ass if he needs to take a job like this. Shawn Ryan, the creator of The Shield, did live Twitter commentary during the 2 hours. It was an awesome read while watching the episode. https://twitter.com/ShawnRyanTV |

Re: Sharknado
Tornadoes and sharks are scary things. Tornadoes filled with sharks is genius!
Can't wait to see it. I love crap. According to IMDB, the budget was $1 million. |

It's been reported today that this was the most Tweeted TV movie of all-time on Twitter last night. It averaged 5,000 tweets per minute. |

Re: Sharknado
It was terrible. So terrible that I stopped watching but checked at the end to see if the Bad Robot logo popped up.

Re: Sharknado
Looks like the studio/distributor The Asylum, responsible for Sharknado, has a whole library of these "mockbusters" movies. Some of them seem like they could be pretty bad in a fun way, for example:
Atlantic Rim (a riff on Pacific Rim) starring David Chokachi (Baywatch), American Warships (Battleship) starring Mario van Peebles and Carl Weathers, Alien Origin (Prometheus) starring no one, Bikini Spring Break (Spring Breakers) starring Robert Carradine, and 11/11/11 (11-11-11), I'm not sure how they get away with the title on that one. I noticed Richard Greico was in a few of the movies as well. :D Source: Wikipedia |
Re: Sharknado
Wait am I reading this right? 11/11/11 outgrossed 11-11-11 ?
Edit: Nevermind. |
Re: Sharknado
caught the very end, oh my god, I was dying of laughter - chainsaw, flying shark, stomach ... LOL
