Re: Sons of Anarchy -- "Ablation" -- 10/30/12

I thought CIA was after the Irish AND they wanted SAMCRO to continue doing business with them to do it. The RICO case is still on and was started based on Otto's testimony, earlier this season they showed Bobby, Tara, and Jax talking to their attorney about it.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong 'cause I would like to know too. smh

^ It's still active but I get the feeling now that Jax is probably thinking since the initial deal has already been done, he can continue the deals (and keep the CIA happy) without Clay being around. The Irish definitely made a big deal about Clay being there for the first deal, but I suspect now that the ball is rolling, he may no longer be needed (or at least that is probably what Jax is thinking)

It was, but the problem is now the sheriff can hold Juice being a rat over his head. So while the father may not be an issue, informing on the club is/will be.

Is Juice retarded, by the way? I saw no less than two full on black members of the club at Opie's funeral. And wasn't one charter of their club all black guys?

That whole storyline was just stupid.

No, that was their friends the Grim Bastards. I think the guys you saw were also Grim Bastards from memory as far as the funeral, but I don't have the episode on my DVR to check.

The show creator is too in love with his characters...this show would be so much better if he would kill some off and keep us more on our toes....there was opie, but other than that, you always know the main characters are going to find there way out of whatever jam they are in because the writer cant stand to part with any any of them. Gemma, Tara, Clay and Juice should be long gone by now

Yeah, the resulting show and its three characters would be great!

I'm not saying get rid of all of them, but you look at a show like the sopranos or oz or the wire...they weren't afraid to kill off a main character....given the story lines, it makes sense that people will get killed off, but with main characters on soa, you know that someone in jail will always get out, someone kidnapped will always be found, someone held hostage will be let go and someone hurt will always survive.

I'm actually making more of a commentary of another failing the show has in my book -- its inability to expand its universe to bring new compelling characters in. With Nero this season, they may have gotten one for once. Without making anything specific known, look at Breaking Bad as a comparison if you know it. The universe gets expanded, and they then have room to kill somebody. With the Sons, this gang is teetering on the edge of becoming a gathering, not a gang. They need more members of the MC.

funny how time can change things... the thought of killing Juice in prior seasons would upset me, but now I'm aching for it to happen
