Yeah, someone pointed that ouit in las week's thread.

I enjoyed this episode. Interesting to see Carlyle doing his alternate Rumplestiltskin performance again. I assume he goes completely batty and becomes the more familiar Rumple during whatever series of events cause the rift between himself and Regina.

Weird that David didn't at least stick around while Regina tried to talk to Daniel.

I think David was more concerned with getting Henry to safety. Regina was going to do what she wanted regardless.

True. But it still felt weird those two never turned up again.

Daniel's demise was kind of anticlimactic since he was Regina's true love.

Oh Daniel, it's me!
GRRR, it hurts!
Okay. *poof* Goodbye. *sniff*

Next week
Spoiler:
Was that Hurley as the giant from Jack & the Beanstalk? DUDE! Quite awesome.

I was disappointed that she just dissolved him. It would have been far more tragic if she had to rip out his heart, like her mother had done in front of Regina so long ago.

I'm also upset they never found out whom the heart belonged to. The episode seemed to imply that the nature of the original possesor of the heart is what was making Daniel a rampaging monster.

I thought they did a great job this week of giving all three worlds a good amount of screentime. Liked the music and old-school Frankenstein look they gave the final scene.

Spoiler:
Yeah but they were saying that because if you're doing Frankenstein and you don't mention in any way the brain came from an insane man you've got to imply evil from somewhere, so the heart became the disease.

In the end, it may really be something to gloss over.

Wasn't the monster always just misunderstood rather than evil? But I get your point.

Speaking of the monster, I found it interesting that they refered to it as Victor's brother. It makes a certain kind of sense, given that the general public tends to associate the name Frankenstein with the monster more than the doctor himself.

On another note, it was interesting to see Regina's first encounter with Jefferson. Especially since it's quite a contrast from how he was when we first saw him. Being a dad really changed his life for the worse. Although, given the nature of this show, we'll probably find out that girl isn't his daughter but rather the child of someone he screwed over royally.

We enjoy this show very much, however it's getting a little too much to keep track of with all the characters.
