I wonder if they'd pull the plug early? The advertisers are probably already commited so it's just a cash grab at this point and it shows

A definite low point, but I still watch out of 'obligation'. I feel invested in the characters after all of these seasons, even if many of them have become shrill, one-note cartoons. Knowing (or hoping) this is the final season makes it easier.
Still, small moments - Creed getting on the bus - hook me enough to keep me watching...

not as bad as I would have thought, given the reviews in this thread. Not good, but definitely not the worst episode they've ever had. The writers have no clue what to do with Andy. He's more like how he was when he was introduced as a character.

Yeah, Andy jumps around from a Michael clone to a hapless square to vindictive asshole. They just write him to be whatever they want for the episode.

As others have said the only good part was Creed. the rest was horrible, the song on the bus - shoot me now.

Plus they transferred the excessive Toby hate from Michael onto him, unlike before when all the other employees only insulted him moderately.

I liked seeing the Sweeney Todd poster in Andy's office. Andy seems to have returned to being an asshole like he was during his first season on the show. I don't like him.
I was a little confused at the line by the new employee, who said of Jim, "Creed's that guy's stepfather". Did I miss an episode where he banged Jim's mom or something?

This. It's the farewell season, so here's a crapload of Nellie - who just showed up and everyone hates - for you to choke on. Gack.

I thought the episode felt really disjointed. They never really went anywhere (yet) with the Pam being hurt thing. The Dwight throwing a fit on the top of the bus was not only cringe-worthy, but the resolution where he feels better because he can look at the office denizens as his children was terrible. That was what the entire plot was leading up to? And worst of all was Kevin wanting Oscar to hit him in the face with a pie. I'm surprised they didn't put a laugh track in for that joke.
