Boss -- "Clinch" -- 10/12/12

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Chicago's bankruptcy crisis means a loss of power for Kane as emergency measures are put in place, but threats by his enemies to expose him could be of even greater concern.

Episode 9 of 10

Next week is the season finale. No news yet on a 3rd season. The showrunner of Boss (Dee Johnson) is also the showrunner of the new ABC show Nashville. If Boss gets renewed, she will continue to work on both shows as they have different shooting schedules.

Lennox Gardens Casino!!

Holy shit this episode was so good. probably one of the best this season.

I loved the look of shock and disgust on Mona's face after Kane revealed that plan.

Another crazy moment was when Darius murdered Taylor. Darius is fucked. I feel bad for the guy, especially how he's been used by Emma and stole money from T.I to help her.

Guess Walsh has now been outed as a Lesbian. A few episodes ago, I wasn't 100% sure whether Walsh was making a pass at Kitty by giving her the room key, but now I guess it was official. Didn't realize that Walsh and her aide were also lovers.

Governor Cullen: "That was the worst kept secret in this town that Senator Walsh was a muff driver"

Okay, I must have missed this somewhere. I read on AV Club that Ian is actually Emma's half brother. Where was that referenced? That's kind of gross then since they had sex in last week's episode.

Looking forward to the finale next week.

You must have missed my comments for the last episode, and possibly a few episodes before that (or you didn't click on the spoiler tag).

I kept thinking it was a pretty hot scene with Emma and Ian, but then that whole incest thing would keep creeping into my head.

Speaking of Emma, she lets her accent sneak out at least a couple of times per episode.

Spoiler:
Ian is either Kane or the bartenders bastard son. Likely Kane, to explain why Ian was anxious to work for him.
They also hinted that Walsh and her aide were lovers a few times. Kitty made a point of noticing it.

Emma and Ian being related is pure speculation at this point. I think it's based on that one scene where Ian had the same picture of Kane that the bartender dude had hanging in his bar.

Best episode of the season.

Speculation or not, Emma and Ian being related could also be traced back to additional scene where they flashback to Ian sitting in a car as a boy while his mother talks to Kane. I don't recall the specifics other than Kane telling her to piss off.

I totally missed that about Ian, but that certainly makes a lot of sense. But ewwwww.
