30 Rock -- Season Premiere -- "Episode 701" -- 10/04/12

Synopsis:
When "TGS" returns from hiatus, Liz (Fey) is alarmed by Jack's shockingly bad fall programming line-up. Meanwhile, Jenna (Krakowski) prepares to be the ultimate bridezilla, enlisting a reluctant Liz to be her maid of honor, and Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) and Hazel (Kristen Schaal) invite Tracy (Tracy Morgan) to a dinner party.
13 episode final season
I've watched pretty regularly since season 3. I've enjoyed it, but I am also glad it's got an end date.

Sad it is coming to an end.
Season 6 had some good episodes especially in the beginning but slowed down toward the end but it still one of the best comedies on TV.
Tina Fey says she would not mind doing another TV show in the future since she said TV has great roles for women.

Tina Fey might do another show or might just produce one she just signed a four year extension deal with NBC.

Tina Fey plans to keep her 30 Rock TV address after the end of her NBC series. The 30 Rock creator/executive producer and star has signed a new four-year overall deal with series producer Universal Television to develop new projects for the studio. The deal kicks in next year. Fey segued to 30 Rock after a stint on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, where she became the first female head writer. She has also successfully expanded into features and is a best-selling author. 30 Rock is set to end its seven-season run in January. Fey’s pact with Uni TV was first reported by Variety.

I'd like Fey to expand a bit and try producing a dramedy hour long. She could recur on it, too.

Tracy - "WHY ARE THEY BLUE?!?" LOL
So the whole plot of this season will center around Jack and Liz destroying NBC? Can't wait!

Loved it. "Liz, you have to be my maid of honor. You're my oldest friend. Also you're the friend I've known the longest."

What's funny about Homonym is that it was implied that the host was just fucking with the guy and always counting his answer as wrong. But there was a brief shot of the host's card, and it turns out it actually was on the up-and-up.

I just remembered the "witch undertones" bit. That made the wife and I laugh. It was a great effect too.

Homonym was good. Jenna's nightmarish bride antics were unexpectedly timely with that crazy bride email that's been making the rounds online.

Glad Tina Fey is sticking with NBC and hope she stars in a new show once 30 Rock ends.
If Parks & Recreation ever gets dropped (hope that does not happen for a long time) maybe Fey and Poehler could do a show together.
Hazel doing the Asian accent and Thursday's on NBC are just going to be the informational channel you see in hotel rooms.

OMG this show is horrible. I'm sorry. It's a shell of it's former self. I'm watching out of obligation now since it's over this season. Kristen Schaal is the worst thing that's ever happened to this show. Any scene she is in is pure garbage.
The lemon party line was the best part of this episode.

Now I remember the best line:

The whole thing about Paas (the Easter Egg Coloring Kit Company) reminded me of this stand-up bit by Patton Oswalt on that company:
