Still think it should return in the Spring since I don't think it can hold up for a full season plus so many other viewing choices to compete with on my DVR.

Yeah. If this epsiode isnt stellar, this show may be moved to the bottom of the season pass list. I gave it a season on the basis of having Keifer in it. But I wasnt too impressed.

The series as a whole is questionable but don't base your decision off this episode. You'd be better off watching the other episodes of season 1. This one-off episode is missing most of the other series-arching plot points.

What a weird episode. I can see why FOX just dumped it without any promotion and called it a "Bonus episode" It really made no sense in the grand scheme of the season 1 arc. Martin and Jake are just randomly driving around and his car just happens to break down near the town where he grew up at. This 1-off plot didn't really do anything for me with Martin discovering his old boss was crooked.
It was nice to see Mary Stuart Masterson after many years, although the years haven't been too kind to her.

I wondered what happened to Mary Stuart Masterson and have not seen her in years. She does not look that bad and actually better with long hair.
This episode was mediocre.
No Gugo so this gets a thumbs down.

Then it turns out they have an episode that was ALMOST exactly like that. All they needed was the sad piano music at the end.

According to TV.com the premiere has been pushed back to January.
Hope that is true since there are too many shows on right now or if it does come back early on Mondays it can get slaughtered by the Voice and Dancing with Stars.

The second season of Touch, originally on the calendar for October 26, will now come in as a midseason entry in January.
Kitchen Nightmares will replace Touch starting October 26 at 8pm. The reality show was previously scheduled for late September, but was bumped back to an unspecified date in favor of The X Factor reruns.
But why move Touch back and why now? I'll take a stab at answering that! Fox has a bit of a drama problem, with only The Following in the stables ready to go for early 2013. With Fringe ending in February and The Mob Doctor looking like the season's first cancellation, that's two vacancies in the network's midseason schedule. I'm thinking Fox might bring Touch back early and cram it into the cavity left by The Mob Doctor to give Mondays an extra boost.
