I was surprised that Lisa didn't join Skupin in voting out Artis. I really thought she and Penner had made a connection tonight.

Forgot to check in here. At least my guy made it onto the jury. Pretty good for a first time player (me, not Jeff). Frankly, I figured he'd be out by episode three, the way they played up his knee injury from the premiere.

I think they did. I believe Lisa and Michael are a super-tight alliance and that they realized that only one of them needed to flip to cause the upset. So Lisa stayed with the old tribe to prove loyalty so she wouldn't burn bridges, and Michael flipped because he knew he'd be the first one out anyway.

I have no doubt Lisa will join him now that she's had a chance to prove loyalty yet again. She's thinking that will work for her on the jury. Despite the way they're framing her, I believe she's thinking a lot about this game. Remember, two episodes ago, she realized it was better to stay with people who couldn't get votes in the end than the heroes. But she's walking a fine line.

Also, just to bring perspective, since his last stint on Survivor, Michael has spoken at many churches as part of his ministry. Lisa does the same thing. I don't believe they've ever met, but they clearly knew about each other's ministries, so it was inevitable that they'd feel kindred and be a strong alliance.

Penner might have made a mistake by not agreeing to the plan. He would have strengthened his alliance and he could always flip later if he needed to.

At least this was my deepest run ever in this game and I knew I was in trouble when Abi won immunity.

My Amazing Race team was also elminated Sunday, so this hasn't been a good week for me.

Looks like I'll be in the final four at least. Lisa is looking not so hot to me as she was a few weeks back. Maybe it's because of her saying that it's so hard actually playing the game because she felt an emotional bond with Penner. I can never understand why people can't just play the game without worrying about hurt feelings. Throughout the years, there's been a fews times when someone who feels bad about voting people out make it know and the jury seems to turn on them. It now feels that the jury is going to turn on Lisa. Damn! At least I'm making final four.

I don't know why no one considered voting Denise out. If you can't vote out Malcolm, get rid of Denise. Either one is destined to win if you're against them in the finals.

I didn't win but I ended up making the finals in both here and The Amazing Race game. Not shabby for a first timer. Do I get anything since Lisa won fan favorite? Like maybe some dvd lying around that no one wants?

A prize for fan favorite sounds like a workable idea. Perhaps next season we can pay 2/3 of the fund to the show winner and 1/3 to the fan favorite?
