Yup I know. Still not alot of people in this forum are watching though. I guess people here just don't want to spend the money on Cinemax even though I said they have other new shows coming out besides Strike Back. Oh well, you and I pimped the hell out of this show and we did the best we could.

Holy shit. Only 15 mins in and this may be my favorite episode yet. Airport shootout was fantastic. And the end was fucking spectacular, too.
"He's not gay...he's British. Easy mistake to make."
Loved Scott getting slapped around by the Mossad agent, too. "Was that even sex? I've had easier cage fights." bahahahah
Scott's dick finally got him in trouble!

The inaccuracy of the guns on this show gets more and more ridiculous by the episode.
Takes a lot of the excitement out of a shootout

What do you mean inaccuracy?

Maybe he means that hundreds(thousands) of rounds fired but no one gets hit? At least on the good guys side? But that is pretty standard for action movies/shows.

If you have ever seen an actual shootout they arent nearly as exciting as the movies (there are a few exceptions) but you would be suprised at the amount of shots fired vs the actual targets hit. In most cases, the adrenenline and nerves make people miss like you wouldnt believe.
Think about the north hollywood shootout. Thousands of rounds fired and the only 2 people killed were the bad guys.

yeah, that's what I'm wondering. Bad guys rarely hit the good guys. That's pretty much a standard staple of action shows. And I will say, last year, the good guys did get shot and hurt, so this is probably far more realistic than most.

All I know is that if you play a drinking game taking a shot every time Scott yells either "Fuck!" or "Fuck me!" that you would die of alchohol poisoning before the show ended.
I say this with admiration as I think he is one of the best swearers on TV. Some people can make it sound effortless and cool and others can for lack of a better term sound off and make you feel uncomfortable with their cursing. Not so with Sullivan Stapleton.

Yeah, the "Fuck me!" when they get into a jam is always fantastic.

And the amount of fire that tiny car took when they fled the stadium??
This is all people standing still and taking aim.
It's way worse than last season and most movies. Frankly it's silly.

Apparently Stonebridge can't hit for shit either. How many times did he fire at that car in pretty close range without hitting the driver?

also people with automatic weapons don't automatically have some sort of advantage hitting a moving target. try hitting a moving target, regardless of your weapon choice. it's not easy.
as for "worse than last season and most movies" comment, i'd say the complete opposite. i'd say it seems to me far more realistic than shows like 24 or movies like the expendibles.

Did anyone notice in that brief closeup of Scott behind the car pointing his Glock at that hit woman his weapon appeared to be out of battery.

Some really fun stuff in this episode.
Although, I have to somewhat agree with Gunde here (doesn't stop me loving the show though)
Scott and Stonebridge taking that heavy gunfire at the soccer stadium without getting hit once was ridiculous. There was a few episodes last season where Scott got hit and was critically injured. I don't think he's been hit once this season.
Also, I thought it was stupid for Stonebridge to abandon the old man to chase after the guy who killed his wife. Then having him shoot at the car without hitting him once was pretty laughable.
For such an esteemed and highly trained British soldier, his aim sucks.
Other than that, there was some exicting sequences in this episode. The airport shootout was fun and I liked the raid on the safe house. The chase sequence from the airport was fun and I loved Stonebridge shooting the bikers in the head.
Yup, Scott was really careless this time around. Kind of weird though out of every bimbo he's banged, he all of the sudden has some kind of connection with this assassin chick.
And please can we get Michelle Lukes away from a computer screen and back in the field?

Re: Strike Back -- "Episode 15" -- 9/07/12
Just a few weeks ago the police in NYC got into a shoot out (if if can be called that) with a suspect. They killed him and wounded a bunch of tourists/bystanders. Then it came out that the suspect had only fired 1 shot, that killing the victim. He never fired back at the cops. So sometimes gunfire goes wrong.
As to the show, I finally got caught up. The gunfight in the desert was not real believable due to the number of shots fired at them and no one getting hit. But, then I'd have expected Soldat to have found the sniper hideout since supposedly they had the area surrounded. So there's plenty of liberties being taken all around.
