Random "Arrested Development" question

I wasn't watching Arrested Development when it was on TV, but over the weekend I started watching it on Netflix.

Good show. I like the characters, it's funny, enjoying it so far.

The last episode I watched had all these flashback scenes of the Bluth's as children, as their father kept staging elaborate grisly pranks with a one armed man to teach them a lesson. The young boy playing the older brother looked very familar, and I realized it looked like a 11 or 12 year old Abed from Community.

Does anyone know if that was infact Abed in this episode? The end credits didn't list anyone as YOUNG MICHEAL or YOUNG JOB so I can't tell if it was him. The show is about 10 years old by now, so age wise, I'm guessing Abed would have been 11 or 12 when this was shot.

Danny Pudi is 33, so it wouldn't have been him.

And THAT's why you don't try to figure out who young Michael is.

PS You're in for one of the most enjoyable sitcom experiences ever!

OK. You don't get a good look at him, but it really looked like him to me.

I would have guessed Danny Purdi was in his twenties.

I'm glad I found the show, don't have anything to watch now and this should fill the void nicely.
