Did NBC ask the show if it had anything else to say?

At least 3 years too late.

Makes sense. A lot of the main characters are leaving or have been gone for a while. I think Dwight leaving for his spinoff show was one of the last straws. I enjoyed the first few seasons but it dropped in quality quite a while ago if you ask me.

Yup but hopefully they can go out on a high note.

I also really like the idea of seeing some of the documentary crew. I think that could be an interesting twist.

As others have said, it's definitely time. If NBC hadn't been struggling so much the last few years, the show probably would have ended sooner. I'm hoping Parks and Rec will gain some viewers.

About damn time! After the 4th season this show went down hill. Sure there were a few good episodes here and there but the laughs were few and far between when compared to the first four seasons.

My last watch was the wedding. For me that was an ending, and really had no more desire to watch.

It's obviously Gabe.

Three years too late is about right. I remember when I used to look forward to the next episode. I still do that with 30 Rock. Not The Office.

My wishlist would include Dwight's death. And on 30 Rock, the female paige's death. And on Breaking Bad, Skyler's or at least Hank's Wife's death. I'm seeing a pattern here.

I don't even look forward to the next episode of 30 Rock. Parks and Rec, on the other hand...

Well, looks like those of us thinking about the documentary crew as actual people and not just as a narrative device can look forward to what their purpose is.

Ladies and gentlemen, our long national nightmare is over.

The last three seasons of The Office raped my early 20's.

3 years ago was probably about right, but they really missed their best opportunity to end the series when Michael Scott removed his microphone at the airport at the end of season 7.

Do you normally waste 5 years doing something you don't enjoy?

Most likely to be replaced by even worse crap. At least The Office was serviceable. Pardon me if I don't celebrate.

I'm calling it now... when they finally reveal the documentary makers, it's going to be a huge name, like Steven Spielberg

Finally. This is a sad, sad version of a really great show. Not sure how it lasted past the pilot.

I'm very competitive and I wanted to win the "the show has sucked since XX" battle.

I quit watching around season five. If NBC had anything else to offer, this show would have been canceled years ago.

To be fair, the source material sucked ass too, so this show never stood a chance.
